OBJECTIVES:1.To analyze the situation of the prevalence situation of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)and laboratory test results of confirmed cases from 2014 to 2018,to provide a reference for better preventing and controlling HFMD.2.To investigate the serum EV71 positive antibody status of healthy children aged 3~7 in Longgang District of Shenzhen City,to provide reference basis for evaluating the effect of EV71 vaccination on the prevention of hand,foot and mouth disease.3.To investigate the knowledge of parents in Longgang District on hand,foot and mouth disease and their willingness to inoculate EV71vaccine and the influence factors,so as to provide ideas for the coming work of health education on the prevention of hand,foot and mouth disease.METHODS:1.Descriptive analysis was conducted on the data of hand,foot and mouth disease incidence and laboratory test results in Longgang District from January 1,2014 to August 31,2018.2.ELISA was used to detect the Serum EV71 antibody of 445healthy kindergarten children who were taken into annual health examination.Chi square test,Fisher'exact probability were used to find out the factors that were related to the level of the antibody against EV71.3.A questionnaire was self-designed and convenient sampling was used to interview the parents who took their children to those four vaccination clinics from Longcheng Street,Pingdi Street and Henggang Street in Longgang District to investigate their awareness of hand-foot-mouth disease and EV71 vaccination and attitudes towards EV71 vaccination.Chi square test,Fisher'exact probability were used to find out the influence factors.RESUITS:1.From January 1,2014 to August 31,2018,a total number of 70582cases of hand foot and mouth disease were reported in Longgang District,the highest incidence was in 2014 with 953.15/100,000,and then the number of cases decreased year by year.HFMD occurs in late spring,early summer and autumn in Longgang District,the main peak was from may to July,and the secondary peak was from September to October.The cumulative number of reported cases of hand,foot and mouth disease in Buji Street and Longgang Street was 33313,accounted for 47.20%of the total number of cases in the whole district.HFMD often occurs among children in preschool and who are too young to go to school.In the year of 2014,2016,2017,EV71 and CoxA16 was the dominant virus,while EV71 and other enteroviruses transferred dominant virus in 2015 and Cox A16 became the dominant virus in 2018,accounted for 74.36%.2.All of the 445 healthy kindergarten children,their positive rate of EV71-IgG antibody and EV71-IgM antibody was 80.90%and7.31%.There was no significant difference in EV71-IgM antibody positive rate(?~2=4.29,P=0.830)and EV71-IgG antibody positive rate(?~2=0.71,P=0.951)between males and females.The difference of EV71-IgM antibody positive rate(?~2=24.68,P=0.002)in children of different ages was statistically significant,while the difference of EV71-IgG antibody positive rate(?~2=3.37,P=0.498)was not statistically significant.3.Among the surveyed children,male accounted for 53.62%and female accounted for 46.38%.Children who are too young to go to school accounted for 92.27%,and children in preschool accounted for 7.73%.The most interviewed parents were mothers,accounted for 80.05%.Among the surveyed parents,30.92%had a high school/technical secondary school degree,and 47.88%had a college degree.95.51%of the parents have heard of hand foot and mouth disease;30.42%of the interviewed parents had heard of the EV71 vaccine.About 6.48%of them know the inoculation time of EV71 vaccination.Only 18.95%of children were vaccinated EV71 vaccines.54.86%of the parents said they intended to receive the vaccine.There were statistically significant differences between parents'education background,occupation,family income and knowledge of HFMD.There were statistically significant differences between parents'education background and knowledge of EV71 vaccine.There were statistically significant differences between parental age and EV71 vaccination intention.From September 1,2016 to August 31,2018,a total number of 211,865 person-times were reported to have received EV71 vaccine.CONCLUSIONS:1.HFMD often occurs in spring,summer and autumn in Longgang District in Longgang District of Shenzhen City;most of the HFMD cases from Buji Street and Longgang Street,accounted for 47.20%of the total number of cases in the whole district;HFMD often occurs among children in preschool and who are too young to go to school.Attention should pay highly to strengthen the work and protection to susceptible groups in certain seasons.2.Healthy children who are less than 7 years in Longgang District of Shenzhen City have a high susceptibility to EV71;Routine prevention of hand foot and mouth disease in preschool children should be strengthened.Strengthen the publicity of EV71 vaccine and improve its vaccination rate,children should shoot the EV71 vaccine within 5 years old.3.30.42%parents are aware of the existence of EV71 vaccine.54.86%parents held the opinion that they want their children to receive EV71 vaccine.Education background,occupation and family income of the parents have an influence on the understanding of HFMD;The knowledge of EV71 vaccine was related to the educational background of the parents.Parental age affects EV71 vaccination intentions?From2016 to 2018,a total number of 211,865 person-times were reported to have received EV71 vaccine,the average monthly EV71 vaccination person-time gradually increased.It is necessary to further strengthen the publicity of EV71 vaccine and increase the willingness of parents to receive EV71 vaccine.
