Calystegia sepium(L)RBR is a perennial herb of the genus Convolaceae.It often grows in wilderness,wasteland,hillsides,and roadsides.It tastes cool and sweet,so folks take its whole grass or root as medicine,could treat urination disadvantage,hypertension.It also shows the effect on detoxification and detoxification,so external use can cure Danshui and trauma.Wide leaf bowl flowers in China are with a long history of medicinal use,widely distributed,and a large amount of resources.At present,there are very few drug research reports on wide leaf bowl flowers at home and abroad,so its chemical composition and pharmacological effects are not yet clear.In order to provide a theoretical basis for the further study of its active ingredients and the development of C.sepium,we investigate the chemical constituents of C.sepium.in this study.Various chromatography were used to isolate the chemical constituents of C.sepium.26 coupounds were identified by physical and chemical properties inspection and different spectral analysis,the structure were elucidate as: tyrosol(1);kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(2);kaempferol-3-O-β-D-galact-oside(3);quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(4);scutellarein-7-O-β-glucopyranoside(5);kaempferol-3-O-β-robinobioside(6);nicotiflorin(7);rutin(8);kaempferol 3-O-neohesperidoside(9);3,5-di-O-caffeoyl quinicacid methyl ester(10);3,4-di-O-caffeoyl quinicacid methyl ester(11);5-hydroxymethyl-furaldehyde(12);sessiline(13);Oryzasaccharide A(14);polybotrin(15);pyridine-3,5-dicarb-oamide(16);uridine(17);tachioside(18);2-methoxy-4-(2′-hydroxyethyl)-phenyl-1-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(19);5-hydroxyl-2-hydroxymethylpyridine(20);picein(21);4-hydroxy-phenethylol-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(22);skimming(23);benzyl alcohol-β-D-glucopyranoside(24);glucose(25);Sargentodoside C(26);Compounds 1-26 were obtained from C.sepium for the first time.The inhibitory activity of α-glucosinase in some compounds isolated from ethyl acetate and n-butanol fractions of C.sepium was tested by using an in vitro inhibitory model of alpha-glucosidase.The results showed that compounds 2;compounds 4-7 and compounds 9 had better inhibitory activity of alpha-glucosidase in vitro.Among them,compound 2 had the best inhibitory activity of alpha-glucosidase.The inhibitory activity of the above six compounds was stronger than that of the positive control(acarbose).It can be seen that some of the compounds in the wide leaf bowl have better α-glucosinase inhibition activity.
