Objective The clinical data and follow-up information of 232 patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)who were treated by thoracic surgery alone in the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University were collected and analyzed. The related factors affecting the prognosis of the operation were discussed to provide the basis for the clinical treatment of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods From January 2009 to October 2017,the medical records of patients with non-small cell lung cancer in the single treatment group of thoracic surgery in the Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University were collected. The collected indicators included:operation mode, whether the tumors were accompanied by pleural shrinkage, whether the tumors were spanning, tumor size, pathological type, lymph node metastasis,TNM stages. The data were collated by telephone, outpatient review and inpatient inspection.Return visits were conducted in various ways to find out the survival status of patients after operation.SPSS19.00 software was used for statistical analysis. The survival rates of 1,3 and 5 years were calculated by life table method, single factor prognostic analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier method, and Log-rank test was used to analyze the prognostic factors of COX regression model. Results B The 1?3?5?7and 9-year survival rates of 232 patients with NSCLC were 89.22%,66.56%,55.77%,49.04% and 46.16%,respectively.The median survival time was 36 months. The single factor analysis by Kaplan-Meier method showed that the prognosis of the patients was not affected by the operation method, the trans-fissure of the tumors and the pathological type(P > 0.05).Pleural shrinkage, tumor size, lymph node metastasis and TNM staging were the prognostic factors with statistical significance(P < 0.05).Multivariate analysis of COX regression model showed that lymph node metastasis and TNM staging were independent prognostic factors(P < 0.05).Conclusion Surgery-based treatment can make patients with non-small cell lung cancer survive for a long time;early detection and early surgical treatment can improve the survival rate of patients with non-small cell lung cancer;for patients with pleural wrinkles, early surgical treatment is recommended to achieve long-term survival.
