Objective To investigate the correlation between the serum erythrocyte distribution width(RDW)and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP)levels and the severity of acute pancreatitis in patients with acute pancreatitis, and to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods 159 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to the Department of Hepatobiliary,Pancreatic and Splenic Surgery,People's Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from August 2016 to December 2018 were studied. There were 104 males and 55 females aged from 14 to 87 with an average age of 46.36 to 15.44 years.According to China's acute pancreatitis guidelines(2014).The acute pancreatitis were divided into mild acute pancreatitis group, moderate severe acute pancreatitis group and Severe Acute Pancreatitis Group. The patients were divided into two groups according to their etiological factors: biliary acute pancreatitis group and hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis group. All patients received 3ml of venous blood from elbow on Day 1,3 and 7 after admission. The serum erythrocyte distribution width and the concentration of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein were measured. The high-sensitivity C-reactive protein was immunoturbidimetric. The serum erythrocyte distribution width was detected by automatic blood cell analyzer.SPSS21.0 statistical software package was used to analyze the data. Results 1.Comparison of sex and age between MAP group and MSAP group and SAP group.Three groups of men and women: MAP group(48/25),MSAP group(39/24),SAP group(17/6).Age of the three groups: MAP group(43.3 + 15.1),MSAP group(46.4 + 14.5),SAP group(49.8 + 18.8).2.Comparison of etiology between MAP group and MSAP group and SAP group. The three groups were counted according to etiology, biliary origin and hyperlipidemia: MAP group was(45)(28);MSAP group was(36)(27);SAP group was(11)(12).3.Comparison of dynamic changes of erythrocyte distribution width counts in serum of MAP group,MSAP group and SAP group at different time points. On the first day,the third day and the seventh day of admission, the counts of erythrocyte distribution width in serum of the three groups were(41.58(+4.07)(42.28(+3.25)(41.65(+3.66),3.53(+4.85)in the MAP group,43.59(+4.94)(43.13(+4.87)in the MSAP group and(45.9(+4.92)(46.59 +4.73)(45.75(+5.96)in the SAP group.4.Combined detection of erythrocyte distribution width and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein concentration in serum has important clinical significance in predicting the changes of acute pancreatitis, guiding clinical classification and formulating diagnostic and therapeutic measures. Conclusion 1.In this study, the sex and age of acute pancreatitis patients were not correlated with the severity of acute pancreatitis, while Gallstone Pancreatitis and hyperlipemia pancreatitis were not correlated with the severity of acute pancreatitis.2.The levels of erythrocyte distribution width and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in serum of patients with MSAP were significantly higher than those of patients with MAP,and the levels of erythrocyte distribution width and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in serum of patients with SAP were significantly higher than those of patients with MSAP The higher the level of erythrocyte distribution width and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in serum, the more serious the disease.3.With the prolongation of time, the counts of erythrocyte distribution width and the concentration of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in the serum of patients with acute pancreatitis increased, reaching the peak on the third day of admission, and the peak value of severe patients was higher than that of severe, severe and mild patients;then gradually declined, suggesting that the patient's condition changed from severe to mild.4.Rapid,simple and reliable detection of erythrocyte distribution width counts and high-sensitivity c-ractive protein concentration levels in patients with acute pancreatitis In clinical practice, dynamic monitoring of the serum erythrocyte width distribution count and high-sensitivity c-ractive protein concentration in patients with pancreatitis is performed It has important clinical significance for the early assessment of the severity of acute pancreatitis disease, for guiding clinical diagnosis and treatment, and for judging the prognosis of acute pancreatitis.
