Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect and safety of angiogenesis inhibitors on the melanoma by meta-analysis.Methods: The database of Pubmed,The Cochrane Library,EMbase and CKNI were searched by computer. After selecting the documents and extracting the data according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the meta analysis was performed by RevMan 5.3 software. Results: 4 RCTs including 2363 cases of patients were identified. There was no significant difference between angiogenesis inhibitors and control group in the 1-year survival rate [OR=1.11(0.89,1.39),P=0.35],1-year disease free progression rate [OR=1.27(0.87,1.84),P=0.22],objective reaction rate [OR=1.31(0.97,1.77),P=0.08] and disease control rate [OR=1.24(0.95,1.61),P=0.12].In terms of safety, the incidence of hypertension was higher in angiogenesis inhibitors than that of the control group [OR=9.84(4.50,21.49),P<0.00001].There were no significant differences in the incidence of neutrophils, neurological symptoms and fatigue events between the angiogenesis inhibitors and control group(P>0.05).Conclusion: Angiogenesis inhibitors can not improve the survival rate, the disease progression rate, the objective response rate and the control of the disease, but increase the incidence of hypertension.
