Objective:Systematic evaluation of the efficacy and safety of inhaled corticosteroids(ICS+LABA)combined with low-dose theophylline in patients with stable COPD provides a reference for the optimization of treatment options for patients with clinical COPD.Method:Using the well-established combination of search terms and keywords to retrieve the relevant literatures from the Chinese and foreign languages, the two participants separately selected the relevant documents and extracted data according to the pre-established inclusion exclusion rules. The data was evaluated by the quality score table and finally included in the study quality. The Review Manager 5.3 software would be use to analyzing the extracted data.Result:Separately selecting by two participants and final inclusion of 10 articles into the study, data analysis shows that has statistical significane of FEV1%pre[OR=1.21,95%CI(0.11,2.32),P=0.03],6MWD[OR=12.92,95%CI(4.61,21.22),P=0.002],CAT score[OR=-3.08,95%CI(-3.57,-2.58),P<0.00001].There was no statistical difference in the probability of adverse events[OR=1.24,95%CI(0.58,2.67),P=0.58],Acute exacerbations[OR=0.65,95%CI(0.39,1.08),P=0.10],FEV1[OR=0.07,95%CI(-0.01,0.15),P=0.09]in two group. Conclusion:ICS combined with low-dose theophylline can significantly improve COPD stable pulmonary function and exercise capacity, high safety, can be used with caution in clinical applications.
