Objective: To analyze the credibility and repeatability of a modified acetabular fracture classification system bases on the concept of acetabular three-column.Methods: Analyzed the imaging data of 639 patients with acetabular fractures treated in The Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University and Red Cross Hospital Affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University in the past 5 years, and selected 463 acetabular fracture patients with complete X-ray and three-dimensional CT data of the pelvis.Four professionally trained trauma orthopedic surgeons performed the classification according to the modified acetabular fracture classification method. After 2 months, the original sequence was disrupted and re-typed.The Kappa test of classification consistency was used for credibility and repeatability analysis. Results:The mean Kappa values of the two-stage reliability before and after modified acetabular typing were 0.88 and 0.878,and the reproducible average Kappa value was 0.933.Conclusions:The modified acetabular fracture classification bases on the acetabular three-column concept has good credibility and repeatability, and is easy to grasp and apply.
