Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the correlation between serum chemerin and PICP levels with atrial fibrillation.Methods: Ninety patients with AF admitted to our department from January 2018 to December 2018 were selected consecutively.According to the 2017 AHA/ACC/ESC AF management guidelines,they were divided into three groups: paroxysmal AF group,persistent AF group,and permanent AF group.Meanwhile,30 cases of sinus rhythm persons who visited physical examination center in the same period were selected as the control group.Routine examinations including medical history collection,physical examination,laboratory examination and cardiac ultrasound were completed,and serum chemerin and PICP levels of all subjects were detected.All the data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0.Results:1.Comparison of clinical basic dataThere was no statistical difference between the two groups in age,gender,HR,BP,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,FPG and other indicators.However,patients with AF had a bigger BMI and higher chemerin and PICP levels than the control group,while their LVEF was lower than the control group.2.Comparison of Chemerin levelsChemerin in AF group was significantly higher than that in control group,and the difference was statistically significant.In the AF group,patients with permanent and persistent AF had higher chemerin than those with paroxysmal AF,and those with permanent AF also had higher chemerin than those with persistent AF.3.Comparison of PICP levelsThe PICP of AF group was significantly higher than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant.In the AF group,patients with permanent AF had higher PICP than those with persistent and paroxysmal AF,and those with persistent af had significantly higher PICP than those with paroxysmal AF.4.Correlation analysis between Chemerin level and biological indicators in atrial fibrillation groupPearson correlation analysis showed that chemerin was positively correlated with LAD and negatively correlated with LVEF.5.Logistic linearity was performed as an independent variable with age,gender,HR,BP,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,FPG,BMI,Chemerin,PICP,LAD,LVEF,etc.Serum chemerin,LAD,and PICP were associated with the presence of AF after logistic regression analysis.Conclusions:Chemerin was associated with atrial fibrillation type.The longer the duration of atrial fibrillation,the higher the Chemerin and PICP.The elevation of Chemerin may be involved in the occurrence and development of atrial fibrosis.
