Objective:To investigate the characteristics of blood pressure variability and the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS)associated hypertension.Methods:96 hospitalized patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome-related hypertension were divided into mild-moderate and severe groups according to the severity of the disease. In addition,52 patients in the simple hypertension group were randomly selected as the control group.24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring was carried out in the above three groups to observe the variability of blood pressure, and the incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events in each group was counted. Results:OSAHS was closely related to hypertension. The blood pressure variability of mildmoderate group and severe group was significantly higher than that of simple hypertension group(P <0.05).The blood pressure variability of severe group was significantly higher than that of mild-moderate group(P <0.05).Compared with simple hypertension group, the incidence of cardio-cerebrovascular events in mild-moderate group and severe group was significantly higher, and the incidence of severe cardio-cerebrovascular events in severe group was significantly higher.Raise.Conclusion and Significance:1.The severity of sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome is significantly correlated with the mean systolic blood pressure during the day,the mean diastolic blood pressure during the day,the mean systolic blood pressure at night and the blood pressure variability index of the mean diastolic blood pressure at night. The more severe the degree of sleep apnea, the greater the variability of blood pressure,cardio-cerebrovascular events such as sinus bradycardia and other arrhythmias, the higher the incidence of acute myocardial infarction, stroke and so on.2.We usually focus on the treatment of hypertension, but neglect the important factor that induces hypertension: sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome.A considerable number ofOSAHS patients with clinical symptoms have been neglected or undiagnosed, resulting in high levels of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications, and even sudden death.3.This study focused on the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in OSAHS-related hypertension, which has received little attention in previous studies on OSAHS.
