Development Of Supportive Needs Questionnaire For Caregivers With Malignant Blood Diseases

Objective:Based on the qualitative and quantitative research methods,a questionnaire for caregivers' support needs in patients with malignant blood diseases was developed,and its reliability and validity were tested.To provide measurement tools for clinical workers and people from all walks of life to understand blood tumor caregivers and evaluate their needs,thus effectively improving the quality of their care.Methods:1.On the basis of literature review,qualitative research and expert consultation,a questionnaire entry pool was initially formed.Delphi letter consultation method was used to evaluate the questionnaire from the aspects of experts' positive coefficient,experts' authority degree and experts' coordination degree,so as to form the initial questionnaire of caregivers' support requirements for patients with malignant blood diseases2.The questionnaire was used to investigate 200 blood tumor caregivers in grade a hospital of xx province,using the critical ratio method,homogeneity test and exploratory factor analysis to questionnaire items after filtering,the remaining items according to the coefficient of crowns Bach,binary reliability and retest reliability and structure validity,reliability and validity of the final formation of patients with malignant blood disease caregivers supporting demand questionnaire.Results:1.Qualitative research: Through the interviews with 10 blood cancer patients with primary caregivers,the interview content summarization for disease knowledge demand,skill requirements,psychological demand and economic needs,social support and medical insurance and the emotional communication needs six themes,such as the final decision after the team discussion incorporating psychological needs and emotional communication,and the disease knowledge demand,disease needs,psychological needs,and economy and the needs of medical treatment insurance and social support needs the five aspects as a basis to construct the questionnaire.2.Delphi method: The recovery rate of the two rounds of expert consultation is 100%,which indicates that the experts are highly motivated.The coefficient of expert authority was 0.84 and 0.87,respectively.According to the selection criteria of items,the unqualified items were removed,and the questionnaire was modified according to the opinions of experts for a second consultation.After the second consultation,the items were not deleted,and one item was modified according to the expert opinions.The degree of coordination of expert opinions was 0.122 and 0.182,respectively,and the significance result was P < 0.05,so the degree of coordination of experts was relatively high,and the questionnaire items were adjusted from 40 to 35.3.Preliminary experiment :(1)Six items were deleted through critical ratio method,homogeneity test and exploratory factor analysis.The questionnaire was revised from 35 items to 29 items.(2)According to the reliability test,the total cronbach coefficient,split-half reliability and retest reliability of the questionnaire were 0.902,0.859 and 0.894,respectively.According to the validity test,in the exploratory factor analysis,the KMO value was 0.827,the Bartlett sphericity test value was 2351.851,and the degree of freedom was 759,P < 0.05,which was statistically significant.According to the standard of characteristic value > 1,five common factors were extracted,and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 66.58%.In the correlation analysis,the correlation coefficient between each dimension of the questionnaire and the total score was between 0.435 and 0.594,and the correlation coefficient between each dimension and the total score was between 0.561-0.823,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the questionnaire had good reliability and validity.4.This study eventually resulted in a questionnaire with 5 dimensions and 29 items for caregivers' supportive needs of patients with malignant blood diseases.Conclusion:This study on patients with malignant blood diseases caregivers supporting demand questionnaire reflects the real needs of caregivers,the Delphi method selection,experts believe the questionnaire content is more scientific,the project analysis questionnaire structure more reasonable,and this questionnaire has high after inspection,the reliability and validity of research can be used as blood cancer caregiver needs assessment tools.
