Objective:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of thalidomide combined with conventional chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer, and to provide evidence-based reference for the application of thalidomide in advanced gastric cancerMethods:Computer retrieval CNKI,Wanfang,Weipu,Pubmed,Embase,Cochrane Library, retrieval time for the database to April 2018.Search uses a combination of topic words plus free words. After quality assessment of documents that meet the inclusion criteria,,a meta-analysis was performed using Rev Man 5.3 software. Results:A total of 13 studies and 761 patients were included,of which 385 were combined and 376 were treated with chemotherapy alone.Meta-analysis showed that the total effective rate of the two programs [OR=1.72,95%CI(1.29,2.31),P<0.05],disease control rate[OR=2.66,95%CI(1.92,3.68),P<0.05],Disease progression rat[OR=0.39,95%CI(0.28,0.54),P<0.05],Life improvement effect of patients[OR=3.09,95%CI(1.82,5.24),P<0.05],The group was superior to the chemotherapy alone group. Conclusion:Compared with chemotherapy alone, thalidomide combined with thalidomide has a better short-term efficacy and better quality of life in patients with advanced gastric cancer.Adverse reactions: nausea and vomiting rate in chemotherapy group is higher than that in combined group, and the incidence of constipation combined group is higher than that in simple Chemotherapy group.
