Meta-analysis Of The Diagnosis Of Thrombospondin Type 1 Containing 7A Domain In Membranous Nephrology

Objective:To valuate the diagnostic value of the THSD7 A for membranous nephropathy.Methods:We systematically searched the Chinese and English literatures.Meanwhile,we retrieved the references of the included literatures manually.Meta-analysis was performed by using Review manager 5.3 software.Compared the positive rates of THSD7 A by different measures.Analysed positive rates of THSD7 A in MN,IMN and SMN patients,and the relation to malignant tumors.Subgroup analysis was performed according to the races.Results:Eleven studies involving 4826 participants were eventually included.The funnel plot was symmetrically distributed.Meta-analysis reshults showed that five studies included serology and histology test methods,and the differences of positive rates of THSD7 A was not statistically significant(OR=0.88,95%CI: 0.62~1.25,P=0.48).The positive rate of THSD7 A was 2.76%(95%CI:2.33%~3.28%)in MN,2.94%(95%CI:2.19%~3.94%)in IMN,and 2.60%(95%CI:1.29%~5.27%)in SMN.The results of subgroup analyses showed that the positive rate of THSD7A-associated MN was 2.49%(95%CI : 1.75%~3.54%)in yellow race,and 2.85%(95%CI:2.35%~3.47%)in Caucasian,and the differents was not statistically significant,The positive rate of malignant tumor was 9.19%(95%CI :4.68%~15.00%)in THSD7A-associated MN.Conclusion:The differences of the positive rates of THSD7 A was not statistically significant between serology and histology test methods.There is no significant differences among races.The positive rate of malignant tumor was 9.19%(95%CI:4.68%~15.00%)in THSD7A-associated MN.
