Objective:To inspect the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and osteoporosis(OP)and blood Cys-c strength.Methods:204 patients with diabetes were enrolled.According to the results of bone mineral density measurement,they were divided into T2 DM with osteoporosis(OP)group,type2 diabetes with bone loss group and T2 DM group.Clinical data were collected including gender,age,disease duration,body mass index and biochemical parameters.Fastingfor8 h,then collect specimens to measure Cys-c?HbA1c?FPG?P?NP??-CTX?25-(OH)VD?PTH?TC?TG?HDL-C?LDL-C?ALP?N-MID?mAlb/CRE.Statistical description and analysis were carried out by SPSS20.0 software.The correlation was studied by Pearson analysis.The effects of each index on BMD were inspected by multiple linear regression analysis.The test standard ?=0.05,P<0.05 was comparable.Results:(1)The content of Cys-c[(1.13 ± 0.37)mg/L vs(0.83 ± 0.20)mg/L vs(0.73 ±0.19)mg/L,P<0.05]??-CTX[(654.12±262.76)pg/ml vs(570.35±208.52)pg/ml vs(483.27±236.58)pg/ml,P<0.05] in T2 DM combined with OP group were higher,while PINP[(30.06±10.52)ng/ml vs(35.92±15.50)ng/ml vs(43.86±15.22)ng/ml,P<0.05]?25-(OH)VD[(18.15±9.16)nmol/L vs(23.84±12.45)nmol/L vs(33.24 ±17.91)nmol/L,P<0.05]were lower,and the difference between the two groups was equivalent,Pearson correlation analysis displayed that Cys-c levels in T2 DM patients were positively correlated with ?-CTX and negatively correlated with bone mineral density,25-(OH)VD and PINP(Correlation coefficient is 0.3-0.7,medium intensity,P<0.05);(2)T2DM combined with OP group had the highest TC?LDL-c?HDL-c and the longest course(P<0.05);(3)Agewas low and BMI?FPG was high in T2 DM group(P<0.05);(4)There was no difference in gender distribution?HbA1c?mAlb/CRE?PTH?TG and ALP levels among the three groups;(5)Multiple linear regression analysis displayd that the age,25-(OH)VD,BMI and gender were the influencing factors of lumbar spine bone mineral density.Conclusion:Patients with T2 DM and OP have higher levels of Cys-c,and Cys-c may affect bone health by participating in bone homeostasis.
