Evidence-based Interventions For Management Of Humidification On Adult Patients With Artificial Airway

Objective: To identify the content of the evidence-based interventions for Chinese adult patients with artificial airway.Methods: This research is based on the KTA(knowledge to action)theory framework.Our study is divided into three stages.In the first stage,we constructed an evidence-based practiceresearch group.In the second stage,through reviewed and analysed of the literature,we synthesized the relevant evidence,through questionnaire investigation and semi-interview,we identified the national health environment.Based on the above results,the evidence-based practice research group construct draft humidification evidence-based interventions of adult patients with artificial airway.In the third stage,the final plan was established by using Delphi method.Results: Evidence-based practice research group composed of 16 senior experts,and the investigator as a coordinator.Through systematically literature retrieval and evaluation,there were nine articles that had been collected.National health environment survey found that the development of relevant norms and standards lack of evidence-based guidance.Synthesized above results,the evidence-based practice research group construct draft humidification Evidence-based interventions of adult patients with artificial airway.After two rounds of Delphi,we identified the humidification evidence-based interventions of adult patients with artificial airway,which including four dimensions,eight items and 35 specific content.Conclusion:The construct process of the plan is scientific,rigorous and reliable,provide a reference and basis for the transformation of evidence-based evidence.This study is the first time to identify the humidification evidence-based interventions of adult patients with artificial airway in China.These interventions provide scientific,accurate,objective guidance for clinical nurses to manage artificial airway humidification.
