Objective: To find out the difference of craniofacial features between Mongolian and Han normal adult females by measuring and analyzing the main features of craniofacial bone and soft tissue of Mongolian and Han normal adult females, and to establish an independent database of craniofacial features of Mongolian adult females, aiming at providing craniofacial features for future Mongolian adult females.Facial repair and plastic surgery reconstruction provide reliable data support, but also provide valuable scientific research data for clinical teaching. Methods: 80 normal adult females of Mongolian descendants(all three generations of their parents are Mongolian)in Inner Mongolia were collected.Meanwhile,80 normal adult females of Han nationality were selected.A total of 160 normal adult females(18-30 years old,31-45 years old,46-60 years old)of Mongolian and Han nationalities were scanned by CT and three-dimensional laser respectively. The skull and facial soft tissue data obtained by three-dimensional laser scanning were imported into the software Mimics 17.0 for three-dimensional reconstruction, and then the related indexes of bone tissue were measured(head length, head width, ear height, zygoma height, minimum frontal width, face width, mandibular angle width). The skull and facial soft tissue data obtained by three-dimensional laser scanning were imported into the software 3D Beauty for soft tissue related indexes measurement(eye cleft width, intraocular angle). The craniomaxillofacial bone and soft tissue data of Mongolian normal adult women and Han normal adult women were statistically analyzed, trying to find out the craniomaxillofacial bone and soft tissue data of Mongolian normal adult women and Han normal adult women. There are significant differences in the measurement indicators of bone and soft tissue. At the same time, review the relevant literature, try to explain the possible reasons for this difference, and finally establish an independent database of craniofacial features of Mongolian normal adult women.Result: Among the bone tissue measurements, the adult females of Mongolian nationality accorded with the height of zygoma, ear, mandibular angle, face width and frontal minimum, and the head width was larger than that of adult females of Han nationality(P < 0.05),while the head length of adult females of Mongolian nationality was not significantly different from that of adult females of Han nationality(P < 0.05).Difference(P > 0.05).2.In soft tissue measurement index,Mongolian adult females in all age groups accorded with nasolabial angle, nasolabial angle, nasal height, nasal tip height, nasal width, nasal length, mouth crack width, facial appearance, morphological face height, eye crack width, eye outer corner width were larger than Han adult females(P < 0.05),while Mongolian adult females' inner corner was larger than Han females(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the width of the inner corners between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: 1.Compared with the normal adult females of Han nationality, the normal adult females of Mongolian nationality have longer head width, higher ears, higher zygoma, broadest frontal width, face width and width of mandibular angle, but there is no significant difference in head length between them.2.In the measurement of craniomaxillofacial soft tissue, the normal adult females of Mongolian nationality and the normal adult females of Han nationality have no significant difference.Compared with sex, they have bigger nasolabial angle, nasolabial frontal angle, nasal height, nasal tip height, nasal width, nasal length, mouth crack width, facial height, morphological face height, eye crack width, and eye outer angle width, but there is no significant difference between them.3.Most craniomaxillofacial tissue and soft tissue features of Mongolian normal adult women and Han normal adult women are significantly different. It is necessary to establish an independent database of craniofacial features of adult Mongolian women.
