Objective Investigate the nursing needs of premature infants in preterm infants, and analyze the effects of parental demand-oriented continuous care on the anxiety of premature fathers or mothers, uncertainty of illness, parenting ability, physical development of premature infants, and readmission rate.Explore the application effect of continuous care based on parental needs in the care of premature infants. Methods A pilot-like study was conducted to investigate 70 cases of premature infants admitted to the neonatal ward of the Inner Mongolia Medical University Affiliated Hospital from March 1 to June 31,2018.The premature infants were randomly assigned according to the order of admission. For the observation group and the control group,35 parents in the control group received routine continuation care, and 35 parents in the experimental group received continuous care based on parental needs.Interventions include premature infant feeding, daily care for premature infants, observation and prevention of common diseases, and interventions for delayed neurodevelopment.Premature infants were intervened by telephone follow-up,outpatient follow-up,etc.The anxiety and disease uncertainty of the premature infants in the two groups were compared at the time of discharge. The gestational age was corrected for 3 months and 6 months. The length, weight and head of the two groups were compared.Surrounding,re-admission rate and parenting ability score.Data analysis was performed using statistical methods such as t-test and chi-square test, and processed using SPSS22.0 statistical software. Results 1.70 parents of premature infants, only 4.5% were able to meet the care needs of premature infants, and 42.9% could not meet the care needs of premature infants. The demand rate for parents to receive relevant health knowledge education during hospitalization was 80.3%,and the demand for continuing care after discharge was 75.8%.The top two consecutive nursing needs were through health education on the Internet platform(83.3%).Health information(80.3%)was issued.2.There was no statistically significant difference in the general data of the caregivers between the two groups of premature and premature infants. The anxiety scores and disease uncertainty scores of the premature infants in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the nursing staff's competency score was higher than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant.3.There was no significant difference in the length and head circumference between the experimental group and the control group at 3 months(P>0.05).4.The weight of preterm infants in the experimental group was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the head circumference between the experimental group and the control group at 6 months of gestational age(P>0.05).The body weight and body length of the preterm infants in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The experimental group had premature infants. The rate of re-admission was lower than that of the control group, and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion 1.The premature infant care staff has a large demand for continuous nursing knowledge, and the medical staff should develop targeted continuous nursing interventions according to the needs of the parents of premature infants.2.Parents of premature infants can obtain continuous nursing knowledge through various means. The hospital can establish different health knowledge education platforms and provide convenient access to health knowledge platform according to parents' needs.3.Continuing care based on parental needs can reduce the anxiety and disease uncertainty of premature infants, improve the childcare ability of premature infants, reduce the incidence of re-admission of premature infants, and promote the physical development of premature infants.
