| ObjectivesTo explore the relationship between post-stroke depression(PSD)and recurrence risk of stroke. Methods A total of 248 patients with acute ischemic stroke hospitalized in the Affiliated Hospital of North China University of Technology from August 2017 to March 2019 were collected. The degree of PSD depression was assessed by Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD).The Essen Stroke Risk Score(ESRS)was scored according to the clinical data.To analyze the relationship between PSD and ESRS stroke recurrence risk score. Results 1 There were 248 stroke patients.According to the HAMD score, the total score was<8 points in 159 cases and<8 points in 89 cases. The incidence of PSD was 35.89%.There were significant differences in gender, age and marital status between PSD group and non-PSD group(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in BMI,HDL and triglyceride between the two groups(P>0.05).2 There were significant differences in age, hypertension, diabetes and history of coronary heart disease between ESRS high-risk group and ESRS low-risk group(all P<0.05).3 There was no significant difference in serum total erythroid and direct bilirubin between ESRS high-risk group and ESRS low-risk group(all P>0.05).4 Comparing the severity of depression between ESRS high-risk group and ESRS low-risk group, the severity of depression was divided into mild, moderate and severe. After chi-square test, there was significant difference in the severity of depression between ESRS high-risk group and low-risk group(?~2=21.377,P=0.000)5 Pearson linear correlation analysis showed that the severity of post-stroke depression was positively correlated with ESRS score(r=0.597,P<0.05)6 Regarding recurrence of ischemic stroke as dependent variable, diabetes mellitus history, coronary heart disease history,TIA history and post-stroke depression as independent variables were included in logistic regression equation. The results showed that diabetes mellitus(OR=22.149,95%CI 7.258-67.589,P<0.05),TIA history(OR=9.511,95%CI 4.110-22.011,P<0.05),coronary heart disease(OR=4.132,95%CI 1.427-11.64,P<0.05)and post-stroke depression(OR=3.948,95%CI1.774-8.784,P<0.05)were risk factors for stroke recurrence.Conclusions1 The severity of post-stroke depression was positively correlated with ESRS score, that is,the more severe the degree of post-stroke depression was,the higher the risk of recurrence of stroke was.2 Poststroke depression is a risk factor for the recurrence of ischemic stroke, which should be paid more attention to in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke.Figure 0;Table 7;Reference 208... |
