Combined Treatment With Aromatase Inhi Bitors And Growth Hormone In Pubertal Boys With Idiopathic Short Stature

Objective: To assess efficacy and safety of aromatase inhibitors(AI)+recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)on increasing adult height po tential in adolescent short stature boys.Methods: Select boys who are diagnosed with adolescent short statur e in jinhua hospital and yiwu hospital during 2014 to 2018.Treatments are selected by parents one their own will.Thus divided into three g roups,group1 treated with AI+rhGH,group2 treated with rhGH alone,grou p3 treated with GnRHa+rhGH.Assess the efficacy and safety after appr oximately 1 year.Result: 119 adolescent short stature boys,43 pantients treated with AI+rhGH,46 patients treated with rhGH alone,30 patients treated with GnRHa+rhGH,after 1 year approximately,predicted adult height of all three groups are improved(P<0.001),and AI+rhGH>GnRHa+rhGH>rhGH alo ne(P<0.005).
