ObjectiveThe three-dimensional reconstruction of CT data was used to measure the alignment of the lower extremities and the acreage of the medial and lateral tibial plateau. The influence of the alignment of the lower extremities on the acreage of the medial and lateral tibial plateau of the knee joint was explored, which provided a theoretical basis for the application of anatomical prosthesis in total knee arthroplasty.MethodsAccording to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 patients with CT scans of the lower extremities from January 2018 to December 2018 were screened. It was mainly involved in CT data copy,3D reconstruction of CT data using Mimics Research software,3D measurement using 3-Matic Research software, and analysis of measurement data using R software. The alignment of the lower extremities was divided into the varus group and the valgus group, and female group and male group were divided according to gender. Then, the relationship between lateral and lateral acreage of the tibial plateau and the alignment of the lower extremities was explored according to the overall and groups.Results1.There was no significant difference in the ratio of Lateral/Medial between the varus group and the valgus group. There was a statistically significant difference between the female group and the male group in Lateral/Medial(P<0.05),indicating that the ratio of the female group's Lateral/Medial was different from that of the male group, and the ratio of the female group's Lateral/Medial was smaller than that of the male group.2.The ratio of Lateral/Medial was correlated with the alignment of the lower extremities in the male group(P=0.0278),indicating that the lower the ratio of Lateral/Medial,the smaller the angle of the alignment of the lower extremities;however, the ratio of the Lateral/Medial was not related to the alignment of the lower extremities in the female group(P=0.5128).3.There was no correlation between the ratio of Lateral/Medial and the alignment of the lower extremities in the valgus group(P=0.9814).The ratio of Lateral/Medial was correlated with the alignment of the lower extremities in the varus group(P=0.0437),indicating that the lower the ratio of Lateral/Medial for the varus group, the smaller the angle of the alignment of the lower extremities.4.There was no correlation between the overall ratio of Lateral/Medial and the alignment of the lower extremities(P=0.0814).5.There was no statistical difference between the varus group and the valgus group in Delta. There was a statistically significant difference between the female group and the male group in Delta(P<0.05),indicating that the average Delta of the female group was different from that of the male group, and the average Delta of the female group was larger than that of the male group.6.The Delta was associated with the alignment of the lower extremities in male group(P=0.0437),indicating that the greater the Delta, the smaller the alignment of the lower extremities;however, the delta had no correlation with the alignment of the lower extremities in female group(P=0.671).7.There was no correlation between Delta and the alignment of the lower extremities in valgus group(P=0.0755).The Delta was associated with the alignment of the lower extremities in varus group(P=0.032),indicating that for the varus group, the larger the Delta, the smaller the alignment of the lower extremities.8.Overall Delta has no correlation with the alignment of the lower extremities(P=0.0755).Conclusions1.The ratio of Lateral/Medial is related to the alignment of the lower extremities in the male group. The smaller the ratio, the smaller the alignment of the lower extremities.2.The ratio of Lateral/Medial is related to the alignment of the lower extremities in the varus group. The smaller the ratio, the smaller the angle of the alignment of the lower extremities.3.The Delta has a correlation with the alignment of the lower extremities in the male group, and the greater the Delta, the smaller the angle of the alignment of the lower extremities.4.The Delta has a correlation with the alignment of the lower extremity in varus group. The greater the Delta, the smaller the angle of the lower extremities in varus group.
