| [Purpose] To review the history of global health research,composition of research topic,hot topics and evolution in different time periods.To compare the effect of knowledge map theory and LDA model on topic detection and topic evolution of scientific literature.[Methods] The research uses knowledge map drawing software Citesapce II and LDA text mining tools respectively which is based on the gensim extension package of Python language,It analyses and draws the information downloaded from Web of Science database.The specific methods are as follows: 1)Using word frequency analysis to analyze the changes of global health publications,national publications and journal publications during 1997-2018;2)Co-citation analysis of journals and key words was carried out to detect the distribution of global health themes and core journals.Co-occurrence analysis of authors and network cooperation of authors were carried out to find the core author group;3)Use LDA topic model to construct topic set and analyze topic evolution in global health research.[Results] 1)Publication volume: From 1997 to 2018,the change of publication volume showed typical power function characteristics,1997-2006 was the germination period,2007-2015 was the rapid growth period,and 2016-2018 was stable or even slightly reduced.2)Journal distribution: "Lancet" journal articles and citation amount is far higher than other journals,is the world's most authoritative health journal.In addition,journals are classified into four areas: core area,disadvantaged area,potential hot spot area and authoritative area by Point-Point chart.3)Theme Distribution: LDA Theme Model divides global health themes into infectious disease prevention,mental health,global health capacity enhancement,maternal and child health,tobacco and oral health,environmental health,health assessment,disease problems in low-income countries,and health equity.The themes of knowledge map construction are:zoonosis,maternal and child health,strengthening of global health system,health problems in developing countries,non-communicable diseases and economic problems,disease risk and health assessment,global health policy and prevention of infectious diseases,international health cooperation,and global health connotation.4)Potential hot topics: Using LDA thematic model evolution and knowledge map keywords to highlight the potential hot topics detected include: global health education,global health capacity enhancement,international health governance policies and frameworks,mental health.5)LDA topic model construction can customize the number of clustering topics and understand the composition of terms within the topic.Compared with the knowledge map research method,it has certain advantages in freedom and evaluation scientificalness.[Conclusions] Through the mapping and interpretation of the knowledge map of global health research literature and the theme analysis of LDA model,the history of discipline evolution,the distribution of hot topics,the cooperation of authors and the distribution of journals in the field of global health research are obtained,which can provide a knowledge base for scientific researchers to study this field.By comparing LDA topic model and knowledge map method,the text processing ability,topic detection effect and topic acquisition ability of the two methods are compared.The great potential of LDA text mining as a supplementary method of knowledge map in the field of scientific research Bibliometrics is found.The validity and scientificity of LDA model for topic mining are verified.Combining with LDA model,scientific research can be effectively improved.Accuracy of bibliometrics. |
