Background and objective:Urinary calculi are one of the most common diseases in urology and account for a large proportion of urological inpatients.Epidemiological data on European and American countries show that 5%-10% of people have had at least one urinary calculi in their lifetime. The incidence of urinary calculi in China is 1%-5%,while the incidence in the southern region is higher, about 5%-10%.About 25% of these patients require hospitalization. With the development of science and technology and the innovation of treatment methods, the main treatment methods for upper urinary calculi are: extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopic lithotripsy and open surgery. For upper urinary calculi, especially the excessive load of stones, due to the risk of puncture bleeding by percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy is easy to flush the stones back to the kidneys to treat stones, and a large number of stones are produced after ureteroscopy The debris causes unclear vision, and the Shuo Tong Mirror can clear the surgical field of view through thenegative pressure suction device during the operation.Shuotong Mirror is a new technology for the treatment of upper urinary tract stones.By collecting data from patients who underwent Shuotongjing lithotripsy from March 2018 to November 2018,we analyzed the treatment of upper urinary tract stones with Shuotong Mirror.Clinical application effectiveness and safety. Methods:Data of 48 patients with upper urinary calculi treated with Shuotongjing from March 2018 to November 2018 were collected to analyze the surgical status, stone removal rate and postoperative complications.SPSS 23.0 statistical software was used for data analysis and processing of patients’ operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative day and 30 days stone removal rate and postoperative complications, and before and after surgery hemoglobin, white blood cells, serum creatinine For values such as values, the measurement data that conforms to the normal distribution are expressed as mean ± standard deviation((?)± s),and the measurement data of non-normal distribution is expressed by quartile M(25th,75th).Two independent sample t-tests were used for comparison between groups, and paired t-test was used for comparison before and after. The count data is represented by the example(%),and the comparison between groups is performed by the χ2 test or the corrected χ2 test. The difference wasstatistically significant at P < 0.05.Results:Among the 48 patients,43 cases were successfully operated in the first stage, and the success rate of the first stage operation was 89.6%.Five patients were successfully operated in stages. The average time of surgery was(67.1 ± 30.5)min,and the median amount of intraoperative blood loss was 5 ml.The stone removal rate was 64.6%(31/48)on the first postoperative day,and the stone clearance rate was 77.1%(37/48)in the first month after surgery.Complications occurred in 4 patients(8.4%)after surgery,1 in fever, and 3 in severe hematuria. The average postoperative hospital stay was(3.0 ± 1.75)days.Conclusions:Shuotong Mirror has good effect on upper urinary calculi, less trauma, quick recovery, less complications and high safety. It has clinical application significance.
