Objective To investigate the changes of topological properties of brain function network in patients with uremic encephalopathy(UE).Methods 18 UE patients and 18 healthy controls were included for resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI),and the brain functional network of each participants was constructed. Results Brain function network of UE group and HC group were all small world networks, and there were no statistically significant differences in global attributes of brain function network between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with the HC group,UE group has a large number of significant differences in network node attributes, and these different nodes mainly be located in the default mode network(DMN),the excutive control network(CEN)and the peripheral system. In addition, compared with the HC group, the UE group had abnormal functional connections in bilateral frontal lobe, temporal lobe, occipital lobe and limbic system. Conclusion UE has abnormal topological properties of brain function network which is mainly located in DMN,CEN and VN.Those play an important role in the neuropathological changes of UE.
