Abstract/Summary:
Objective: To understand the anthropometric characteristics of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),to explore its value in the diagnosis of PCOS;to explore the distribution of PCOS syndrome elements in Chinese medicine and the correlation between different syndromes and anthropometric indicators and comorbidities.Provide clinical support for data support for the development of TCM syndrome standardization and research on PCOS prevention and treatment by Chinese medicine. Methods: According to Zhu Wenfeng’s " syndrome elements differentiation ",the " PCOS Patient TCM Syndrome Elements Differentiation Scale " was produced.Questionnaires were surveyed for those who met the inclusion criteria, and anthropometric indicators were measured by the physician.TCM syndrome elements were judged by reference to Syndrome Elements Differentiation. The results were entered into the Excel table, and the data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 24.0 using statistical description, frequency analysis, cluster analysis, and kendall correlation test.Result:(1)The age of PCOS patients was mainly in the childbearing age(82.4%);the main symptoms were post-menstrual cycle or thinning(79.2%);the complication was the highest in hyperandrogenism(45.6%).(2)Anthropometric indicators :WHpR(0.85 ± 0.05),BMI(21.78 ± 3.21 kg / m2),HC(90.78 ± 7.72 cm),WC(77.53 ± 10.35 cm),WHtR(0.49 ± 0.06);BMI in the normal range accounted for 58.4 %(3)The syndromes were ranked as liver(34.7%),kidney(25.6%),spleen(21.0%),and uterine(18.8%)according to the frequency of occurrence. The syndromes were ranked as qi stagnation according to the frequency of occurrence(23.9%).),yang deficiency(23.6%),wetness(12.0%),qi deficiency(8.9%),blood stasis(8.5%),sputum(7.3%),cold(6.2%),blood deficiency(5.8%),yin deficiency(2.7%),fine loss(1.2%)(4)The combination of disease locations and disease factors is complicated. It is divided into 5 categories by cluster analysis: liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome, kidney deficiency and dampness syndrome, spleen qi deficiency syndrome, cold coagulation syndrome, and liver stagnation syndrome.(5)Spleen was positively correlated with WC,HC,WHtR and BMI;renal was negatively correlated with BMI;sputum was positively correlated with HC.(6)Hyperinsulinemia was positively correlated with WC,BMI,and WHtR;hyperandrogenism was negatively correlated with blood deficiency.(7)The uterus was negatively correlated with qi stagnation, and the kidney was positively correlated with yin deficiency;qi stagnation was positively correlated with blood stasis and negatively correlated with yang deficiency.Wet was positively correlated with sputum and negatively correlated with blood deficiency.Blood stasis was positively correlated with cold and negatively correlated with yang deficiency.sputum is negatively correlated with yang deficiency and negatively correlated with blood deficiency.Qi deficiency is positively correlated with yang deficiency and blood deficiency. Conclusion :(1)The indicators for obesity description in patients with PCOS are mainly in WHpR and are associated with abdominal obesity.(2)The symptoms of PCOS patients are mainly liver, followed by kidney, spleen and uterus. The main syndromes are qi stagnation, yang deficiency, phlegm dampness,qi deficiency and blood stasis.(3)The combination of disease locations and disease factors in PCOS patients is complicated. The main types of syndromes are: liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome, kidney deficiency and dampness syndrome, spleen qi deficiency syndrome, cold coagulation syndrome, liver stagnation syndrome, clinical classification Provide some reference.(4)There was a correlation between HC,WHtR,BMI and WC and splenic spleen. There was a correlation between BMI and renal syndrome. There was a correlation between HC and sputum, and it was an independent influencing factor of sputum.HC,WHtR,BMI,WC can assist PCOS patients with syndrome differentiation, with WC,HC most diagnostic value.(5)There is a correlation between WHtR,BMI,and WC and hyperinsulinemia.WHtR,BMI,and WC can help predict whether PCOS patients are associated with hyperinsulinemia, with BMI and WC being the most valuable;PCOS with hyperandrogenemia is less likely to be bloody.(6)There is a certain correlation between the disease locations of PCOS patients and the disease factors and various disease factors, which can provide a certain reference for clinical syndrome differentiation.
