The Clinical Observation On Pregnancy Outcome Of The Women On FET With Tranquilizing,Smoothing Liver And Tonifying Spleen Acupuncture And Moxibustion

Objective:To evaluate the effect of tranquilizing,smoothing liver and tonifying spleen acupuncture and moxibustion on pregnancy outcome and the embryo implantation rate in patient with freeze-thaw embryo thawing transfer(FET)undergoing down-regulated hormone replacement cycle.Methods:In this study,66 subjects were randomly assigned to the treatment group(tranquilizing,smoothing liver and tonifying spleen acupuncture and moxibustion+down-regulated hormone replacement cycle)or the control group(down-regulated hormone replacement cycle).In the treatment group,the patients underwent down-regulated hormone replacement cycle,and at the same time,they were treated with tranquilizing,smoothing liver and tonifying spleen acupuncture and moxibustion three times a week(Every Monday,Wednesday and Friday)until the day of embryo transplantation,total(17.14 1.35)times/person.The control group only used the down-regulated hormone replacement cycle.The difference in pregnancy outcome,the embryo implantation rate,intrauterine thickness on the day of transplantation and the score of liver depression and spleen deficiency scale between the two groups after acupuncture were observed.Results:1.The baseline:There was no statistical difference between the baseline of the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Pregnancy outcome and the embryo implantation rate:After treatment,Biochemical pregnancy rate in the treatment group(66.67%)was higher than the control group(36.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical pregnancy rate in the treatment group(60%)was higher than the control group(30%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The ongoing pregnancy rate of the treatment group(53.33%)was higher than the control group(26.67%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The embryo implantation rate in the treatment group was(36.11±31.28),and that in the control group was(21.67±33.09),with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).3.Intrauterine thickness on days of transplantation(double mm):The treatment group was(9.17±1.30)before treatment and(9.13±1.64)after treatment;and the control group was(8.53±1.47)before treatment and(8.58±1.46)after treatment;but the differences between groups were not statistical significance(P<0.05).4.The score of liver depression and spleen deficiency scale:In the treatment group,it was(10.77±4.75)before treatment,(5.80±3.59)after treatment,(6.30±3.56)at 1 month of follow-up,and(8.83±4.04)at 3 month of follow-up.There were statistically significant differences between before and after treatment,and between before and after treatment with follow-up at 1 and 3 months(P<0.05).In the control group,it was(12.13±4.78)before treatment,(12.70±4.68)after treatment,(12.60±4.66)at 1 month of follow-up,(12.93±4.56)at 3 month of follow-up,There were no statistically significant differences between before and after treatment,and between before and after treatment with follow-up at 1 and 3 months(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.The tranquilizing,smoothing liver and tonifying spleen acupuncture and moxibustion method has positive effects on the clinical outcomes of FET pati-ents:to improve the biochemical pregnancy rate,clinical pregnancy rate and pr egnancy rate;and alsocan increase the rate of embryo cultivation.2.The effect of tranquilizing,smoothing liver and tonifying spleen acupuncture and moxibustion on the thickness of endometrium in FET patients was not obvious.3.The tranquilizing,smoothing liver and tonifying spleen acupuncture and moxibustion method can significantly alleviate the symptoms of liver depression and It lasted three months longer than before treatment.
