As a social keyword with high popularity in recent years,medical reform is expected to solve the problems of medical treatment and expensive medical treatment as soon as possible.At present,due to restricted by technology and network equipment,the application of telemedicine in China is very less,and the medical profession has its own characteristics and requirements,the real-time voice transmission and high resolution image communication have high requirements.The high definition image quality is directly determined by video coding in the medical industry,so the encoding and transmission of video image is one of the key technologies of telemedicine.Because of the remote medical applications in the real world,communication capabilities of different networks(such as wired networks and wireless networks)and various terminal systems have different processing capacities.So the scalable video code opens up a new and effective way to solve this problem.Under the same experimental conditions,some video sequences of HEVC which tested were more than four times as complex as h.264 /AVC.Therefore,scalable video coding standard SHVC which based on the HEVC inevitably has the very high coding efficiency,at the same time coding is also more complex,this has severely limited the wide application of SHVC in real-time and wireless environment.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the fast algorithm of the scalable video encoding of QSHVC.Under the same spatial resolution and frame rate,quality scalable video coding can provide different quality according to network status.It has strong adaptability and great significance.The QSHVC quality scalable video coding algorithm proposed in this paper includes the following steps: Firstly,The potential depth was predicted by using inter-layer correlation,and the depths with low possibility were eliminated;Secondly,for the likelihoods depth,Inter-layer Reference(ILR)mode was checked by examining the residual distribution based on Distribution fitting to determine whether the residuals follow a Laplace distribution.If the residual follows the Laplace distribution,Intra prediction are skipped.Finally,the depth residual coefficient of depth coding is tested to determine whether to satisfy the depth of early termination,and if the condition is met,the code process can be terminated to improve the coding speed.The proposed QSHVC quality scalable video coding in SHVC in comparison with the fast algorithm of the reference software HM-11.0 in causing BDBR at a reduction of 0.23% on average,it saves 79% coding time on average,Compared with the literature [43],the algorithm improved by 10.49%.At the same time,BDBR is superior to literature [43] in the aspect of rate distortion.Therefore,it can be concluded from the above experiments that the algorithm in this paper can significantly improve the encoding speed when the coding efficiency loss is negligible,and BDBR and BDPSNR also improved.
