| Objective: This article through the analysis of the case of meningeal Solitary Fibrous Tumor with lung,kidney,pancreas metastasis,explore the current epidemiology,pathogenesis,clinical and pathological manifestations,diagnosis and treatment,in order to arise the clinicians' awareness of this disease.Method: Selecting the patient's clinical data who has meningeal Solitary Fibrous Tumor with lung,kidney,pancreas metastasis and was treated in pneumology department of the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University and discussing the diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of this disease by combining relevant domestic and foreign literature reports.Results: The patient was admitted to the pneumology department of our hospital,mainly due to the discovery of double-lung disease.The patient was diagnosed with "Cerebellar tentorial hemangiopericytoma" in our hospital 12 years ago and received surgical treatment.Space occupying lesion of kidney and pancreas were found later,and space occupying of the kidney,double lung metastatic tumor and pancreas resection were performed successively.Postoperative pathological examination showed that lung,kidney and pancreas tumors were all originated from the brain and were of the same pathological type.The patient is receiving the treatment of apatinib and the general condition is acceptable now.Conclutions:1.Solitary fibrous tumor/hemangiopericytoma is a mesothelial tumor that can affect almost any part of the body.2.Solitary fibrous tumor has no specificity in clinical manifestations and imaging,and its diagnosis mainly depends on pathological and immunohistochemical characteristics;Complete surgical resection is the most effective treatment,and anti-angiogenic drugs may be effective in patients with advanced metastasis of SFT,which needs further study.3.Solitary fibrous tumor are benign tumors,but a few of them may metastasize and recur.Even after complete surgical resection,closely follow-up visit is required. |
