Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To analyze the clinical features of HT with PTMC and PTMC,and to explore the clinicopathological features of pathological indicators CK19 and Ki67 in HT with PTMC and PTMC.Methods: A review of the clinical and pathological data of 230 patients who underwent postoperative paraffin pathology for HT with PTMC and PTMC were collected from Hebei General Hospital from 2015 to 2018.To explore the differences in clinical characteristics between gender, age, size of cancer, number of tumors, and invasion of capsule.Immunohistochemical staining was performed on 116 specimens of the patients, and the difference in expression between the two was analyzed.SPSS 21.0 statistical software was used to analyze the results,P<0.05 was considered statistically significant difference. Results: The proportion of women in HT with PTMC was 93.9%,which was significantly higher than that of women with PTMC(70.2%),the difference was statistically significant(P=0.001).The proportion of single-shot cancer in HT with PTMC group was 55.1%,which was significantly higher than that in PTMC(38.1%),the difference was statistically significant(P=0.016).The proportion of calcification of HT with PTMC group was 32.7%,which was significantly lower than that in the PTMC group(73.5%),the difference was statistically significant(P=0.000).There was no significant difference in the expression of CK19 and Ki67 between HT with PTMC groups compared with PTMC(P>0.05).However,the proportion of high expression of CK19 and Ki67 in HT with PTMC group was 93.8% and 81.3%,respectively,which was higher than 76.0% and 56.0% of PTMC group.Conclusion:1.HT with PTMC is more common in female patients, and the possibility of calcification is low.For patients with calcified female Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, close follow-up should be observed to be alert to canceration.2.HT with PTMC is more common with single nodules, suggesting that HT with PTMC may have a better prognosis.3.The high expression of CK19 and Ki67 in HT with PTMC was higher, suggesting that the high expression of CK19 and Ki67 may promote the development of HT to PTMC.
