The dual mobility hip implant has been more and more widely used in the treatment of hip diseases due to its excellent anti-dislocation performance.Due to the errors in the operation process, the installation angle of the dual mobility hip implant and the center offset distance between the ball head and the pad may change during the installation, which may lead to changes in the kinematics and contact mechanics characteristics of the joint prosthesis. In addition, different gait also affects the kinematics and contact mechanics of double-action total hip prosthesis. Therefore, this paper mainly studies the kinematics and contact mechanics of dual mobility hip implant from three aspects:initial separation distance, installation angle and movement gait. The main research contents are as follows:Firstly, the explicit dynamic finite element method of abaqus based on dual mobility hip implant is established. The process is as follows:Firstly, the geometric model of dual mobility hip implant is established in solidworks, then it is imported into abaqus and the finite element model is established by setting contact, load and mesh attributes.A simple analysis of the dual mobility hip implant is made, which verifies the correctness of the method established in this paper and lays a foundation for the follow-up study.Secondly, according to the established finite element method:1.The effects of the coupling of the tilt angle and the forward tilt angle with the initial separation distance on the kinematics and contact mechanics of the double-action total hip prosthesis are analyzed;2.The coupling effects of the knee bending motion and the stair-climbing motion with the initial separation distance on the kinematics and contact mechanics of the dual mobility hip implant are analyzed.Influence.The contact area, contact stress and cumulative slip distance of the inner and outer surface of the liner are obtained through analysis. The analysis shows that:1.The abaqus explicit finite element method established in this paper can effectively and accurately obtain the contact stress, contact area and accumulated slip distance of the inner and outer surfaces of the liner;2.In the process of walking, the contact stress, contact area and inner surface of the liner are affected by the initial separation distance between the ball head and the liner during the forward inclination angle from 5~o to 20~o and the inclination angle from 30~o to 60~o.The influence of accumulated slip distance on the surface is small, but the influence on the range of accumulated slip distance on the outer surface is large.3.The initial separation distance between ball head and liner has a greater impact on the contact stress, contact area and accumulated slip distance on the inner surface of liner, while it has a smaller impact on the accumulated slip distance on the inner surface. The results provide a theoretical reference for clinical operation and rehabilitation training of patients.
