Objective:Through questionnaire survey,A grade IIIA general hospital and a County grade IIA general hospital in Shiyan City,Hubei Province,were evaluated by the third party of inpatient experience.And the results was described and compared.The importance matrix analysis and comparison of the key driving factors of inpatient experience are carried out in order to understand the advantages and weaknesses of the hospital,to find the breakthrough point to improve the quality of medical service.In order to further improve the experience of inpatients and improve the overall quality of medical services,put forward scientific and reasonable basis for measures.Methods:In this study,the inpatient experience questionnaire was used which was the electronic questionnaire,and we also used the special mobile e valuation terminal.The data were collected from a grade IIIA general hospita l and a County grade IIA general hospital in Shiyan City,Hubei Province b y third-party investigators.The departments include internal medicine departme nt,surgery department,obstetrics and gynecology department,pediatrics depart ment,ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology,traditional Chinese medicine dep artment and other departments.Excel2010 and SPSS22.0 were used for data i nput and statistical analysis,and t test and chi-square test were used to analy ze the data.The importance matrix analysis method was used to analyze the key driving factors of inpatients'experience.Results:1.The grade IIIA general hospital attracts patients were good service attitude(19.02%),good medical environment(14.31%)and high technology(12.27%).The County Grade IIA general hospital attracts patients were good service attitude(19.38%),convenient proximity(18.89%)and high reputation(15.29%).2.The overall satisfaction of inpatients'experience in the two hospitals:746inpatients in Grade IIIA general hospital were generally satisfied with the hospital medical service,accounting for 87.80%,and the overall satisfaction score was3.99±0.54.In County Grade IIA general hospital,449 inpatients were generally satisfied with the hospital service,accounting for 94.90%,and the overall satisfaction score was 4.12±0.49.The overall satisfaction of inpatients in County Grade IIA general hospital was higher than that in Grade IIIA general hospital.There was significant difference in inpatient satisfaction between the two hospitals(?~2?23.603,P<0.05).3.The overall satisfaction of inpatients with different demographic characteristics was compared between the two hospitals:the satisfaction score of male and female patients in county Grade IIA general hospital was higher than that in Grade IIIA general hospital(,P<0.05).The satisfaction score of patients aged18-60 years and over 60 years old patients in county Grade IIA general hospital was higher than that in Grade IIIA general hospital(P<0.05).The satisfaction degree of local patients in County Grade IIA general hospital was higher than that in Grade IIIA general hospital(P<0.05).4.The patient experience of county Grade IIA general hospital was beeter than that in Grade IIIA general hospital in nursing service module,medical service module,auxiliary examination service module and comprehensive management module.5.Gender,age,and residence type had no statistically significant effect on the inpatients experience of two hospital.6.The analysis of the key driving factors of inpatients'experience in th e two hospitals showed that in the nursing service module:the Grade IIIA g eneral hospital needed to give priority to the improvement of"introduction of operational purposes and matters needing attention"and"concern for patient s'discomfort"."the professional ethics of nurse".In Grade IIA general hospita l:priority needs to be given to improving"inpatients'privacy protection","concern for patients'discomfort,"health knowledge and psychological guidance,"introduction of operational purposes and matters needing attention,"and"n urses'technical level.""introduction of medicine".In the medical services mo dule:Grade III A hospitals should give priority to improving"preoperative a nesthesiologists inform anesthesia methods"and"preoperative anesthesiologists inform postoperative analgesia risks".Grade IIA general hospital need to giv e priority to improving"the efficiency of doctors arranging surgery","preoper ative doctors inform the purpose,plan and risks of surgery","preoperative an esthesiologists inform anesthesia methods".The auxiliary examination service module needs to improve the"radiation appointment waiting time"and"ultra sonic reservation waiting time"first in Grade IIIA general hospital.The facto rs that need to be improved first are:"Ultrasonic department appointment w aiting time",followed by"ultrasound examination report time","radiology de partment appointment waiting time".In the service of comprehensive manage ment module,the Grade IIIA general hospital need to give priority to the im provement of"toilet cleanliness","bed cleanliness","hospital security service s",hospital dietary service".Second,there is a need to improve"medical co st perception"and"one-day inventory".In Grade IIIA general hospital,it is necessary for the hospital to improve the"medical cost perception"and"hos pital dietary service".What needs to be followed by improvements is"hospit al security services".Conclusion:(1)the overall satisfaction of inpatients in Grade IIIA general hospital and in County Grade IIA general hospital was good.(2)The experience of inpatients in County Grade IIA general hospital was better than that in Grade IIIA general hospital.(3)Age,sex,place of residence and type of patients had no significant effect on the experience of inpatients.(4)The Grade IIIA general hospital need to improve nurses'professional ethics,information communication and patient privacy protection,Operation and Anesthesia notification,radiation appointment waiting time and Ultrasonic department appointment waiting time,medical environmental,dietary services,security services,medical costs.In County Grade IIA general hospital need to improve nurses'service attitude and technical level,information communication and patient privacy protection,Operation and Anesthesia notification,radiation and ultrasound examination appointments,dietary services,security services,and medical costs.
