Objective:To evaluate the Left atrial(LA)phase function in patients with severe preeclampsia and healthy pregnant women by full-volume imaging technology. At the same time, the left atrial structure and function parameters were measured by using the area-length method and the full volume imaging technology respectively, and the feasibility of the full volume imaging technology in evaluating the left atrial function was discussed.Methods:Forty-two patients of severe preeclampsia were randomly chosen as the case group,thirty-four patients of healthy pregnant women were selected as the control group;Left atrial related function parameters were separately required by biplane area-length method and full-volume imaging technology in antepartum and postpartum. Results:Compared with control group before delivery,in SPE group before delivery left atrial maximum volume(LAVmax)?left atrial minimum volume(LAVmin)?left atrial pre-atrial contra ction volume(LAVpre)?left atrial maximum volume index(LAVI)were higher, left atrial expansion index(LAEI)?left atrial passive emptying fraction(LAPEF)?left atrial passive emptying fraction(LAAEF)indexed to body surface area were lower(all P<0.01);compared with control group after delivery,in control group before del ivery LAVmax?LAVmin?LAVpre?LAVI Were incresed(all P<0.05),LAEI?LAAEF calculated as ratio to body surface area were somewhat higher,LAPEF calculated as ratio to bodysurface area was relatively reduced(all P>0.05);compared with SPE group after delivery,in SPE group before delivery LAVmax?LAVmin?LAVpre?LAVI were higher,LAEI?LAPEF?LAAEF indexed to body surface area were lower(all P<0.01);compared with control group after delivery,in SPE group after delivery LAVmax?LAVmin?LAVpre?LAVI were still incresed,LAEI?LAPEF?LAAEF indexed to body surface area were relatively lower(all P>0.05).Conclusion:Full-volume imaging technology can quantitatively evaluate the LA phasic function;LA Reservoir function?conduit function and booster pump function are reduced in SPE before delivery,LA rereservoir function?conduit function?booster pump function are basically recovery in SPE after delivery.
