Objective To investigate the current situation of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors related to tuberculosis prevention in tuberculosis patients in a specialized hospital in Wuhan, and to develop interventions based on the theory model of knowledge and belief;compare the changes in cognition and behavior of patients with newly diagnosed tuberculosis And the effect of intervention on the outcome of the disease.Methods120 patients with newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis who met the requirements in a specialized hospital with a third-grade infectious disease in Wuhan in June 2018,and filled out the "Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients-Trust-Line Questionnaire" and "TB Patients" According to the medical behavior rating scale, and the imaging examination, according to the results of the investigation to develop interventions;Patients who met the requirements in the first and second TB areas were selected as the control group, and patients who met the requirements in the third and fourth TB areas were included in the intervention group,60 cases in each group. The control group received routine health education, and the intervention group used the KAP theory(Knowledge,Attitude and practice model,KAP)health education model to carry out health education for the patients. After 6 months of intervention, the patient completed the “Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patient-Trust-Find Questionnaire” and “Measurement of Compliance with TB Patients”.The scale and the imaging examination were compared with the results of the first survey to evaluate the intervention effect of health education under the theoretical model of knowledge and belief.Results(1)Comparison of pulmonary tuberculosis related knowledge between the two groups of newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis: After 6 months of intervention, the awareness rate of each entry in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total awareness rate of the intervention group was up to 90.6%;(2)Comparison of the scores of compliance behaviors between the two groups of newly diagnosed tuberculosis patients: after 6 months of intervention, among the dimensions of doctor-patient communication, behavioral characteristics, treatment confidence, social support, psychological status, living habits, coping styles, and memory,The sum of the scores of the control group and the intervention group were19.16±3.67 VS 28.53±1.60,16.33±3.58 VS 23.47±1.42,14.40±2.98 VS 19.03±1.14,16.04±2.76 VS 19.02±1.22,10.28±2.20 VS 5.66±1.65,6.33 ±2.23 VS 9.03±0.88,6.84±1.40 VS 9.16±0.83,6.35±1.43 VS 8.63±0.79,(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.(3)Comparison of chest imaging findings and sputum negative conversion rate in two groups of newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis patients: after the intervention, the effective rates of lung lesions in the control group and the intervention group were 78.90% and 93.10%,respectively(P<0.05).The effective efficiencies were 82.46% and 96.55%,respectively(P<0.05).The sputum negative conversion rate was 98.28% in the intervention group and 87.72% in the control group(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant.Conclusion(1)The health education model of the KAP can effectively improve the level of prevention, knowledge and behavior of patients with newly diagnosed tuberculosis.(2)The health education model of the KAP can improve the compliance behavior of patients with newly diagnosed tuberculosis.(3)The health education model of the KAP has a positive effect on the outcome of patients with newly diagnosed tuberculosis.
