| Objective:Using lymphotoxin-alpha(LTA)reagent card(immunochromatograph)to study the value of LTA in the diagnosis of dry eyes.Method:A prospective study was used to compare synchronously between dry eye patients and normal samples.People who volunteered to participate in clinical research at the Xiamen Eye Center from April 2018 to April 2019 were recruited and selected according to inclusion,exclusion,and grouping criteria.A total of 123 samples were included,including 86 in the dry eye group and 37 in the control group.All samples were sequentially subjected to dry eye questionnaire ocular symptom score,slit lamp examination,ocular surface tear sample collection and LTA assessment reagent card detection,tear break up time(TBUT),corneal fluorescein sodium staining score(FLS),Schirmer I test.Record the results of the above checks and compare the data analysis.Result:(1)There was no significant difference in gender and age between dry eye group and control group(x2=0.30,Z=-1.75,p>0.05).(2)The dry eye symptom score and FLS results of the dry eye group were higher than the control group;the tear LTA concentration,TBUT and SIt results were lower than the control group(p<0.05).(3)There was a negative correlation between LTA concentration of tears with dry eye symptom score and age(p=-0.50,-0.22,p<0.05);positive correlation with TBUT and SIt(p=0.47,0.37,p<0.05);no significant correlation with FLS(p>0.05).(4)The results of LTA reagent card to diagnosis dry eye compared with the clinical diagnostic criteria:positive coincidence rate is 94.19%,negative coincidence rate is 78.38%,total coincidence rate is 89.43%,Kappa indxe is 0.74.The area under the LTA curve was 0.886.Conclusion:Dry eye patients have lower LTA concentration in tears,and the concentration is related to dry eye symptom score,TBUT,SIt and age.The qualitative diagnosis results of LTA reagent card were in good consistency with clinical diagnosis results.It shows that LTA has a high value in the diagnosis of dry eye. |
