Objective:To retrospectively analyze the clinicopathological factors and follow-up data of patients with gastric cancer, and to explore the relationship between serum prealbumin and prognosis of gastric cancer patients, and provide reference for c inical.Matterials and Methods:A total of 217 patients with gastric cancer who underwent complete standardized treatment in gastrointestinal surgery from January to December 2013 in our hospital were studied.Univariate and multivariate analysis of preoperative low prealbumin and clinical pathology data, including age, gender, body mass index, fasting blood glucose, platelet count, hemoglobin, tumor location, tumor differentiation, tumor size, tumor stage,etc..According to the pre-albumin level of the patients, the patients were divided into the low prealbumin group(low PA group)and the normal prealbumin group(normal PA group). The complications of the two groups were compared, and the Kaplan-Meier method was used for survival analysis. The prognosis of the group of patients.Cox proportional hazard multivariate analysis was used to influence the prognosis of gastric cancer patients. Results:Of the 217 patients with gastric cancer,119 died, with a 5-year survival rate of 45.2%and a median survival time of 38 months.Univariate analysis by chi-square test,age>60 years(X2=4.575,P=0.032),anemia(X2=5.488,P=0.019),tumor diameter>5 cm(X2=4.423,P=0.035),infiltration depth T3/T4(X2=9.651,P=0.002),lymph node metastasis(X2=5.190,P=0.023),TNM stage III(X2=11.187,P=0.004)were more prone to hypoproproteinemia.By multivariate logistic regression analysis, anemia and tumor stage ? were independent risk factors for hypoproteinemia in gastric cancer patients.A total of 60 patients in 217 patients had complications, and the incidence of complications was 27.6%,of which low There were 26 cases(37.1%)in the PA group and 34 cases(23.1%)in the normal PA group. The difference between the groups was significant(?2=4.655,P=0.031).The five-year survival rates of patients with low PA and normal PA were 34.3%and 50.3%,respectively.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that patients in the low PA group had significantly worse prognosis than those in the normal PA group(?2=4.507,P=0.034).Further analysis by the Cox proportional hazard model found that preoperative serum prealbumin,TNM staging, and perioperative blood transfusion were independent prognostic factors for postoperative patients with gastric cancer. Conclusions:Serum prealbumin level is an independent factor affecting the prognosis of gastric cancer patients.Patients with anemia and late tumor stage are more likely to develop hypoproproteinemia, and the incidence of postoperative complications of patients with hypoproproteinemia will increase.
