A Study On The Health Care System Of American Veterans

In recent years,the country and the public have been paying increasing attention to the group of veterans.In the future,China must continue to inprove to maintain the legitimate rights and interests of veterans and ensure their welfare.The United States has a long history in the development and construction of veteran's welfare.Its has a sound and perfect welfare system,especially the health care services,which remove veteran's worries.The purpose of this paper is to provide reference for the health care construction of China' s veterans through the research on the health care system of American veterans.This paper mainly use the literature research method by consulting domestic and foreign related journals,newspapers and reports to understand the American health care system of veterans in the historical development situation,medical service,medical security and drug supply.During the study,we found that although American veterans health care system is very mature,but there is still a lot of problems hindered the patients received timely serrvice in lack ing of medical staff,delaying the patient appointments time,drag abuse,and internal regulator malfunction problems.It must take measures to change the situations.Although there are various problems,but in its construction and development experiences,there are still parts worthy of our country to learn from:pay attention to the construction of the department of veterans affairs,Providing convenient medical services for veterans,attaching importance to solving veterans actual medical needs and to alleviate the problem of expensive medical treatment for veterans.To promote the construction and development of China's medical and health service for veterans and guarantee their medical benefits by learning the experience of the United States.
