A Review Of Ameloblastoma And Odontogenic Keratocyst And Case Analysis Of Mixed Lesions Of These Two

As common odontogenic lesions,ameloblastoma and odontogenic keratocyst share the same clinical and image manifestations.Mixed lesions of Ameloblastoma and odontogenic keratocyst occur occasionally in clinical practice,yet little research has been done on them so far.This paper reviewed the literature on the background,epidemiology,pathological classification,histological origin and molecular biology,clinical features,imaging manifestations,and treatment methods of ameloblastoma and odontogenic keratocyst,aiming to have a more systematic understanding of them and explore the causes of mixed lesions.At the same time,one case of mixed lesions of Ameloblastoma and odontogenic keratocyst,and the other four cases of patients with suspected mixed lesions of Ameloblastoma and odontogenic keratocyst with inconsistent pathological diagnosis before and after marsupialization were collected to find out the reasons for the differences in diagnosis before and after,and the relationship between the two lesions.
