Objective:To evaluate the mid-tern protective effect and influencing factors of 20?g/dose hepatitis B vaccine made by recombinant deoxyribonucleic acid techniques in Chinese Hamster Ovary Cell when it re-vaccinates on children with negative antibody against hepatitis B surface antigen(<10mIU/mL)after primary vaccine. Methods:Three areas including Kaihua County,Qingyuan County and Xianju County in Zhejiang Province were selected.Children there aged 5-16 years who completed the primary vaccine at birth but with serum antibody against hepatitis B surface antigen, hepatitis B surface antigen and antibody against hepatitis B core antigen all negative were enrolled in the study.Three doses of 20?g/dose hepatitis B vaccine made by recombinant deoxyribonucleic acid techniques in Chinese Hamster Ovary Cell(20?g HepB-CHO)were administrated(0-1-6 months),and the changes of anti-HBs concentration were examined at 4 time points:1 month after dose 1 and dose 3.1 year and 5 years after dose 3 to analyze the mid-term immunological effect and the influencing factorsResults:A total of 259 children were followed up for 5 years. The positive seroconversion rate was 86.50%1 year after immunization, and 75.68%5 years after immunization. There was no statistical difference among different ages, genders and areas. The higher concentration of initial anti-HBs,the higher geometric mean concentration of anti-HBs and positive seroconversion rate(P<0.001).Conclusion:The re-vaccine with 20?g HepB-CHO has a good mid-term immunological effect. The age, genders and areas have no influence on the immunological effect. The higher concentration of initial anti-HBs,the higher geometric mean concentration of anti-HBs and positive seroconversion rate.It is recommended that children whose anti-HBs was negative after primary vaccine should be revaccinated with 3 doses of 20?g HepB-CHO.
