Study On The Application Of Narrow Pedicle Skin Flap In Emergency Facial Trauma With Defect

Objective:To investigate the effect of narrow pedicle skin flap in the treatment of acute facial trauma with defects.Summarize and analyze its application effect.Methods:From October 2012 to December 2018,42 emergency patients with facial trauma and defect caused by various reasons were included in the study,including 23 males and 19 females.All patients were repaired with narrow pedicle skin flaps.The patients were followed up for 6 months to 1 year after operation.The area of the flaps was 3.0×0.5cm-5.0×1.0cm,the width of the pedicle was 0.8-1.5cm,and the length of the pedicle was 1.0-4.0cm.Results:The 42 cases of facial emergency trauma were repaired with narrow pedicle skin flaps.The flaps survived and the facial appearance was satisfactory.Conclusions:Narrow pedicle skin flaps have the characteristics of flexible transfer,high survival rate and concealed donor site wound in the repair of emergency facial trauma defect.They are suitable for the repair of facial trauma with defect.They can not only repair the defect caused by facial trauma,but also improve the aesthetics.They are an ideal repair method,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
