ObjectivesIn order to understand the effectiveness and feasibility of the new strategy of gastric cancer screening in asymptomatic population in Wuxi, this study popularized the application of Li's gastric cancer screening program, and verified the diagnosis by means of electronic gastroscopy,in order to understand the effectiveness and feasibility of the new strategy of gastric cancer screening in asymptomatic population in Wuxi area.To provide theoretical basis for gastric cancer screening for asymptomatic population in Wuxi.MethodsFrom September 2017 to June 2018,a descriptive study was used to investigate the asymptomatic subjects in Wuxi.To evaluate the application of new strategy of gastric cancer screening in asymptomatic population in Wuxi.Epidata 3.0 software was used to establish database, and SPSS 19.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data after checking. For continuous variables, the results were expressed as mean ąstandard deviation(meanąSD),and classified variables were expressed as the number of examples(percentage). The counting data were compared by chi-square test. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)was used to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of the new strategy of gastric cancer screening in asymptomatic population in Wuxi.Results1.A total of 3057 asymptomatic people who met the criteria of inclusion exclusion were included in this study.9 cases of gastric cancer were detected, and the detection rate of gastric cancer in asymptomatic population in Wuxi was 0.29%.The sex ratio of males and females in patients with gastric cancer was significantly higher than that in asymptomatic patients(P<0.05),and the proportion of PG-17<3.89 patients with positive HP antibody was significantly higher than that of asymptomatic patients(P<0.05).2.The risk of gastric cancer was assessed in asymptomatic population according to the Li's screening scoring system.2191 cases of low risk group of gastric cancer,764 cases of middle risk group of gastric cancer and 102 cases of high risk group of gastric cancer were screened for gastric cancer, and then gastroscopy was performed.4 cases of gastric cancer were detected by gastroscopy in middle risk group of gastric cancer, and 5 cases of gastric cancer were detected by gastroscope in high risk group of gastric cancer. The positive rate of gastric cancer was significantly different among the three groups(?2=81.61,P<0.05).3.In order to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of the new strategy of gastric cancer screening in asymptomatic high risk population, the ROC curve was drawn for the asymptomatic high risk population. It was found that the specificity of gastric cancer was 71.7%in the high risk population of asymptomatic population. It shows that the new strategy of gastric cancer screening can detect that the proportion of high risk population without gastric cancer was 71.7,and the sensitivity was 82.5.The result shows that the proportion of high risk population with gastric cancer was 0.803>0.70 under the 82.5%.ROC curve. The new strategy was effective and feasible for screening high-risk population with gastric cancer.Conclusions1.Li's gastrie cancer screening seoring system eould be used to distinguish the high, middle and low risk groups of gastric cancer in asymptomatic population in Wuxi area, which could be used for gastric cancer screening.2.First,the patients were screened with Li's gastric cancer screening scoring system, and the risk of gastric cancer was evaluated and forecasted, and then the selected high-risk population of gastric cancer were carefully examined by electronic gastroscopy. The new strategy of two-stage gastric cancer screening was effective and feasible for asymptomatic population in Wuxi.
