Objective to study the application value of Dimethicone Powder combined with laxative in bowel preparation before colonoscopy.Methods A total of 456 outpatients and inpatients were randomly divided into two groups:control group(n=253)and dimethylsilyl powder group(n=203).The control group was treated with laxative,while the dimethylsiloxane powder group was treated with dimethylsiloxane powder.The endoscopic physician evaluated the degree of cleanliness,bubble degree,and adenoma detection rate of the two groups.Bowel field cleanliness using the latest Boston bowel preparation standard(boston bowel preparation scale,BBPS)and recording of high quality intestines The number and proportion of tract cleaning(BBPS>6)and excellent intestinal cleaning(BBPS?8)were recorded.At the same time,the number of adenoma and the eorresponding diameter of adenoma were reeorded by endoscope in the two groups.The statistical software SPSS 22.0 was used to analyze the data,and x2 test was used to compare the relevant data(P<0.05).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Results According to different intestinal preparation plan,the subjects were randomly divided into control group(253 cases)and dimethylsiloxane powder group(203 cases),control group(125 males and 128 females),age 21-72 years old,average(44.69(+12.32)years old,dimethylsiloxane powder group(106 males and 97 females),age 20-71 years old,average(38.39(+11.86)years old.The control group included 61 cases of unknown gastrointestinal hemorrhage,64 cases of abdominal pain,66 cases of chronic diarrhea and 62 cases of constipation.There were 52 cases of gastrointestinal hemorrhage,50 cases of abdominal pain,51 cases of chronic diarrhea and 50 cases of constipation.There was no significant difference in age,sex and clinical manifestation between the two groups(P>0.05).In terms of intestinal cleanliness,the ratio of high quality intestinal cleaning(BBPS?6)(81.8%vs71.5<0.05)and excellent intestinal cleaning(BBPS?8)(52.2%vs 30.4 P<0.001)in the dimethylsiloxane powder group was higher than that in the control group.The rate of bubble degree assessment in dimethylsiloxane powder group(34.5%)was higher than that in control group(19.8%)(P).The rate of bubble degree assessment in dimethylsiloxane powder group(32.5%)was higher than that in control group(20.9%)(P0.005),and that in dimethylsiloxane powder group(22.2%)was lower than that in control group(31.2%)(P0.03).The rate of bubble degree evaluation in dimethylsiloxane powder group(10.8%)was lower than that in control group(28.1%)(P<0.0001),which was statistically significant.The detection rate of adenoma in the dimethylsiloxane powder group was 79(38.9%)higher than that in the control group(63(24.9%)(P<0.05).Among them,33(16.3%)of adenoma diameter?0.5cm dimethylsiloxane powder group were higher than 13(5.2%)of control group(P0.007),all had statistical significance.The number of patients with adenoma diameter>1cm dimethylsiloxane powder was 31(15.3%),while that of control group was 35(13.8%)(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion Dimethylsilicone oil combined with laxative can effectively eliminate the foam in intestinal cavity,improve visual field clarity,and is helpful for the detection of small diameter adenomas.
