An Empirical Research On The Impacting Factors For The Healthcare Professionals To Adopt Artificial Intelligence-based Diagnosis Support System

The development of artificial intelligence-based diagnosis support system(AIMDSS)has become white-hot.However,healthcare professionals have little knowledge about AIMDSS.AIMDSS as a relatively new technology and business has not been widely accepted by the healthcare professionals.Based on the present situation,in this paper,the impacting factors for the healthcare professionals to adopt AIMDSS and the promotion of healthcare professionals' adoption for AIMDSS are studied,to promote the AIMDSS been widely used in actual operation.Firstly,Based on extensive literatures reading,this paper select model of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology(UTAUT)as a basis.Considering the specific characteristics of AIMDSS use contexts,mechanism and application of initial trust and two additional variables,personal innovativeness in IT and task complexity are included in proposed AIMDSS adoption model for healthcare professionals.Then,according to the model variables,this paper designs the survey questionnaire.The questionnaire is adjusted through pre-investigation and 192 samples are received by sending out the final questionnaires.This paper uses Spssl9.0 and Smartpls 3.2.8 to perform descriptive statistics,reliability tests,validity tests,model fitting and evaluating,so as to test model hypotheses and clarify the important factors affecting healthcare professionals' AIMDSS adoption behavior and its internal relations.The results indicate that initial trust and performance expectancy both have significant effects on behavioral intention of using AMIADS,propensity to trust,social influence,and effort expectancy all have significant effects on initial trust in AIMDSS,task complexity and effort expectancy are two determinants that respectively influence performance expectancy for using AMIADS,personal innovativeness in IT has a positive influence on effort expectancy for AIMDSS.Finally,this paper puts forward some practical suggestions for improving the AIMDSS adoption behavior for healthcare professionals from the perspective of AIMDSS providers.
