| ObjectiveThis project aims to observe the effections of Xue mai shu tong recipe on carotid atherosclerosis and plaque formation in patients,with whom have qi deficiency while Phlegm and blood stasisstasis.Thoes items we were going to observe and contrast is the changing of TCM syndrome,the morphological changing of carotid plaques,Test results of blood lipid level,serum inflammatory factors and blood viscosity.And finally To investigate investigate the clinical effect and application value of Xuemaishutong recipe in the treatment of carotid atherosclerosis caused by deficiency of qi and phlegm and stasis.MethodAccording to certain inclusion and exclusion criteria,patients admitted to the outpatient and inpatient department of cardiovascular medicine in the second traditional Chinese hospital of guangdong province from December 2017 to December 2018 were selected.A total of 72 patients with carotid atherosclerosis and plaque formation due to qi-deficiency and phlegm-stasis were collected as subjects,and were divided into treatment group(n=36)and control group(n=36).Finally,5 patients in the treatment group and 5 patients in the control group were exfoliated.The statistical data were 31 cases in each of the control group and the treatment group.Among them,the control group used atorvastatin calcium tablets for intervention,treatment group on the basis of the control group with Xuemaishutong recipe.Intervention cycles were 12 weeks in both groups.All participants were required to fill in the symptom score scale before and after treatment.At the same time,IMT,plaque score,serum lipid index(TC,TG,LDL-C),Hey,hs-CRP,blood viscosity and so on were also recorded for each enrolled person before and after treatment.Excel2007 and EpiData software were used for data processing and database establishment.SPSS22.0 statistical software(IBM SPSS Statistics 22)was used for statistical analysis.The above methods were used to evaluate the clinical effect of xuemaishutong recipe on the treatment of carotid atherosclerosis caused by deficiency of qi and blood stasis,so as to provide new ideas for the treatment of this disease.Results1.Of the 72 patients,62 completed the clinical study.In the control group,there were 5 cases of abscission,and the abscission rate was 13%.There were 36 cases in the treatment group,and 5 cases fell off.The shedding rate was 13%.2.Before treatment,TCM symptom scores of the two groups showed no significant statistical significance(P>0.05);after treatment,the efficacy of TCM symptom scores was compared,with the effective rate of 64.5%in the control group and 96.7%in the treatment group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in blood lipid level between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.TC,TG,and LDL-C in the two groups decreased after treatment compared with before treatment,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The decrease was more obvious in the treatment group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in Hey between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,Hey decreased in both groups,especially in the treatment group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in hs-CRP between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable.After treatment,hs-CRP in both groups decreased,while that in the treatment group decreased significantly(P<0.05).6.There was no statistically significant difference in IMT and plaque score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but part of IMT and plaque score in the administration group decreased after treatment,which was statistically significant.The scores of the control group were not significantly changed,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.There was no statistically significant difference in whole blood viscosity between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but there was a decrease in both groups after treatment,and the degree of decrease in the control group was less than that in the treatment group(P<0.05),indicating that the blood-vein-clearing prescription has therapeutic significance in improving the blood flow viscosity of patients.8.During the treatment,62 patients in the treatment group and the control group showed no obvious adverse reactions or adverse events,and blood routine,urine routine,stool routine and liver and kidney function of the two groups showed no abnormalities before and after the treatment.ConclusionXue mai shu tong recipe combined with statin has a significant clinical effect on carotid atherosclerosis and plaque formation in patients with qi deficiency and phlegm stasis.Its combined application can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of such patients,reduce the thickness of carotid artery intima,reduce IMT,and reduce the plaque integral,thereby halting the plaque progress.Meanwhile,it can improve dyslipidemia,inhibit inflammation,improve blood flow and reduce blood viscosity.Therefore,xue mai shu tong recipe can be used as a clinical adjuvant for patients with carotid arteriosclerosis and plaque formation of qi deficiency and phlegm stasis,and its efficacy is positive and safety is good. |
