Clinical Effect Of Peiyuan Powder On Pain After Total Knee Arthroplasty

1,Purpose The erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),hemoglobin(HGB),knee pain score(VAS)and knee function score(HSS)of the patients were compared after total knee arthroplasty.To clarify the clinical efficacy of Peiyuan Powder in the treatment of pain after total knee arthroplasty,and to promote the application of traditional Chinese medicine in rehabilitation treatment after total knee arthroplasty.2,Method From March 2017 to January 2019,40 cases of unilateral total knee arthroplasty(TKA)in Department of Orthopaedics,First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into two groups,20 cases in each group.The treatment group was given Peiyuan Powder plus Celecoxib Capsule orally on the second day after total knee arthroplasty(a course of 7 days,two courses per month,for 3 consecutive months);the control group was given Celecoxib Capsule only(a course of 7 days,two courses per month,for 3 consecutive months).The patients in both groups maintained the routine treatment plan after operation.Two groups of patients completed the relevant surgical examination before operation,and the same group of doctors underwent surgery.ESR,HGB,VAS scores and knee HSS scores were recorded one day before operation,ESR,HGB and VAS scores were recorded on the first day,the fourth week,the eighth week and the twelfth week after operation,and HSS scores were recorded on the fourth week,the eighth week and the twelfth week after operation.3,Result 3.1 There was no significant difference in general data(age,sex,side of affected limbs,etc.)between the two groups before operation(P > 0.05);3.2 There was no significant difference in ESR,HGB and VAS scores between the two groups on the first day after operation(P > 0.05).3.3 Before and after treatment,there were significant differences in ESR,HGB,VAS score and HSS score of knee joint between the two groups(P < 0.05).3.4 ESR,HGB,VAS score and HSS score of knee joint in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group at the 4th week,8th week and 12 th week after operation(P < 0.05);HGB level in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group at the 4th week,8th week and 12 th week after operation;VAS score and HSS score of knee joint in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group at the 4th week,8th week and 12 th week after operation.In the fourth week,the eighth week and the twelfth week after operation,it was superior to the control group.4.Conclusion Peiyuan Powder has significant effect on pain after total knee arthroplasty.It can significantly reduce ESR level and increase HGB content of patients.It can significantly relieve pain of patients after total knee arthroplasty,especially long-term pain of patients.It can also significantly enhance the function of knee joint after total knee arthroplasty.It can also reduce pain and limit knee function of patients after TKA.Common sequelae such as system have obvious therapeutic effect,which is helpful to the recovery of the patient's body.This traditional Chinese medicine treatment method has the characteristics of remarkable effect,safety and convenience,no obvious adverse reactions,and is worthy of wide application in rehabilitation treatment after orthopaedic surgery.
