Objective Nowadays, there are more and more studies on the susceptibility of PDCD1 polymorphism to various diseases at the genetic level, and there are many studies related to tumors. However, the results of these studies are different and the conclusions are difficult to unify. This meta-analysis aimed to explore the relationship between polymorphism of PDCD1 rs2227981 C>T gene and susceptibility to breast cancer and female genital system tumors. Methods The databases of CNKI,Wanfang Digital Periodicals,VIP,CBM,Pub Med and EMBASE were searched. As of May 2018,case-control studies on PDCD1 rs2227981C>T polymorphism and susceptibility to breast cancer and female genital system tumors were collected.Than, using Review Manager 5.3 software carries out meta-analysis of the included data. Results In the study of the allele model(T VS C),it was found that there was significant difference in the distribution of allele T between the case group and the control group(P< 0.05).In the dominant model(TT + CT VS C),there was significant difference in the distribution of genotype TT + CT between the case group and the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion The PDCD1 gene rs2227981 C>T(PD-1.5)allele T and genotype TT+CT in dominant model(TT+CT VS CC)reduces the risk of breast cancer and female genital system tumors.
