ObjectiveComparison of the advantages and disadvantages of deep and moderate muscle relaxation in spinal surgery anesthesia under total intravenous anesthesia.MethodsFrom August 2018 to January 2019,patients undergoing spinal surgery(including thoracic surgery and lumbar surgery)in China-Japan Union Hospital of Jilin University were collected.The patients were American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA)physical status I-II level.They were randomly divided into deep muscle relaxation group(group D)and moderate muscle relaxation group(group M).Total intravenous anesthesia was used in 30 patients in each group,and cisatracurium was used in neuromuscular blocker.The first group(group D)maintained intraoperative infusion of cisatracurium for 2 ug/kg/min,the second group(group M)maintained intraoperative infusion of cisatracurium for 1ug/kg/min,and the TOF was maintained at 1-2.The following data were observed and recorded: Gender,age,height,weight,BMI,liver function classification and other general information of patients;satisfaction score of muscle relaxation effect;recovery index(25%-75% of T1 recovery time),operation time and extubation time;total amount of cisatracurium,pump time,average dosage;adverse reactions within 24 hours after operation(PACU stay time > 40 minutes,hypoxemia)In theabsence of oxygen inhalation,the blood oxygen of fingertips was less than 90%,the rate of re-intubation,and the time to discharge after operation.ResultsThe score of patients in group D was higher than that in group M(P < 0.05);the recovery index in group D(25%-75% time of T1 recovery)was longer than that in group M(P < 0.05);and the total and average amount of cisatracurium pump in group D was more than that in group M(P < 0.05).ConclusionIn spinal surgery anesthesia,deep muscle relaxation can improve the satisfaction of the operator,but at the same time,the average infusion rate of cisatracurium is faster and the recovery index of muscle relaxation is prolonged.
