Objective:Erythropoietin has been used in the treatment of brain damage in premature infants, but there are still different opinions on its efficacy and safety. Therefore, this study hopes to further explore the role of erythropoietin in brain damage in premature infants in the form of evidence-based medicine. Methods:Computers were used to search PubMed,Springer Link,Wanfang Digital Full-text Journal Database,HowNet,China Journal Network,Weipu,National Library Reference Alliance,China Biomedical Database(CBM)and other cdatabases to collect published RCTs,which explore erythropoietin treatment of brain damage in premature infants, and tracking the final reference to the analytical literature, two researchers independently screened the literature according to the established criteria, extracted the required data, and adopted the quality evaluation provided by the Cochrane Collaboration. The quality of the literature was evaluated and statistical analysis was performed using Revman 5.3 software. Results:A total of 532 premature infants with brain injury were included in the study. The results were as follows:NBNA score[MD=2.32,95%Cl(2.01,2.64),p<0.01],March And the MDI and PDI indices of June[MD=5.24,95%Cl(3.67,6.80),p<0.01],[MD=7.69,95%C1(5.78,9.59),p<0.01],[MD=2.32,95%Cl(0.93,3.71),p=0.001],[MD=4.62,95%Cl(3.03,6.21),p<0.01].The NBNA score and CDCC scores of the test group were higher than those of the control group.Brain injury marker S100B concentration[MD=-0.11,95%Cl(-0.15,-0.07),p<0.01],Neuron-specific enolase[MD=-1.95,95%Cl('2.47,-1.43),p<0.01],S100B protein and Neuron-specific enolase were lower in the experimental group than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. Therefore, erythropoietin can be considered to be effective for brain damage in premature infants. The adverse reactions of erythropoietin in the treatment of brain damage in preterm infants were[RR=0.58,95%Cl(0.08,4.31),p=0.59],p>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant. There is no obvious adverse reaction in the treatment of brain damage in premature infants. Conclusion:According to the results of this analysis and the evidence collected, erythropoietin has considerable value in the treatment of brain damage in premature infants.Erythropoietin can significantly improve the NBNA score and CDCC score of premature infants with brain injury. The serum of S100B protein concentration and the neuron specific enolase concentration were effectively reduced, and no obvious adverse reactions were observed.
