Objective To investigate the curative effect, average injection times and adverse reactions of polidocanol foam sclerosing agent and pingyangmycin in the treatment of vascular anomaies, and to provide reference for the selection and use of drugs in clinical practice.Data and Methods 1.Subjects: 288 patients with oral and maxillofacial vascular abnormalities requiring injection sclerosing agent treatment were treated in the outpatient department and ward of oral and maxillofacial surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from March 2017 to November 2018.2.Research methods: A retrospective study was conducted on the efficacy, average number of injections and adverse reactions of 288 patients with vascular abnormalities in oral and maxillofacial region who were treated with sclerosing agent from March 2017 to November 2018 in the outpatient department and ward of oral and maxillofacial surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University.According to the types of sclerosing agents injected during treatment, they are divided into POL group and PYM group. Each group is divided into hemangioma group, venous malformation group and lymphatic malformation group according to the types of diseases.3.Data processing: All the collected data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software. The measurement data are expressed as (?)ąs,Double factor variance analysis is used between groups,?2test is used for the count data between the two groups, the test level ? = 0.05,(P<0.05)indicates the difference is statistically significant. Results 1.therapeutic effect: the cure rates of hemangioma patients, venous malformation patients and lymphatic malformation patients in POL group are all better than those in PYM group, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);The effective rate and total effective rate of hemangioma patients, venous malformation patients and lymphatic malformation patients in POL group were not significantly different from those in PYM group(P>0.05).2.Average number of injections: The type of disease and the average number of injections of selected therapeutic drugs during treatment of patients with vascular abnormalities in oral and maxillofacial region are not significantly affected by Double factor variance analysis(P>0.05).3.Adverse reactions: The local swelling, pain and nerve injury of patients with hemangioma, venous malformation and lymphatic malformation in POL group were not significantly different from those in PYM group(P>0.05);The fever rate of hemangioma patients, venous malformation patients and lymphatic malformation patients in POL group was lower than that in PYM group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The canker rate of hemangioma patients and venous malformation patients in POL group was higher than that in PYM group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in ulceration rate between POL group and PYM group(P>0.05).Conclusions 1.Polidocanol foam sclerosing agent is more effective than pingyangmycin in treating maxillofacial vascular abnormalities;2.The postoperative fever rate and local ulceration rate of polidocanol foam sclerosing agent for maxillofacial vascular anomalies are lower than Pingyangmycin and higher than Pingyangmycin;3.Polidocanol and Pingyangmycin are better than hemangioma and lymphatic malformation in treating maxillofacial venous malformation;4.Polidocanol foam hardener should be carefully considered when selecting drugs for vascular abnormalities in weak parts of oral and maxillofacial regions and superficial parts.
