Objective : To explore the safety and clinical efficacy of perfusion chemoembolization combined with biliary stent implantation in the treatment of malignant biliary obstruction. Methods : A retrospective study was conducted in 60 patients with malignant biliary obstruction who could not undergo radical resection from September 2013 to June 2017 in Tumor Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi Medical University. They were divided into TACE group(experimental group)and simple stent group(control group)with 30 cases each. The experimental group underwent perfusion chemoembolization combined with stent implantation, while the control group underwent simple stent implantation.Liver function, stent patency time and survival time of patients in two groups after treatment were investigated by reexamination or telephone follow-up.Results : All patients were successfully operated without serious complications associated with surgery, and the survival time was greater than 1 month. The median time of stent patency between the experimental group and the control group were(5.6±0.2)and(5.0±0.4)months,respectively.There was no difference in the median opening time between the experimental group and the control group. The time of biliary stent opening in patients with sub-TACE was(10.6±2.52),which was significantly different from the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Perfusion chemoembolization combined with stentimplantation is safe and effective in the treatment of malignant biliary obstruction, which can prolong the stent patency time and survival time of patients.
