Objective: to observe the morphology of transverse carotid artery and submental artery and analyze its clinical significance through three-dimensional reconstruction after CT angiography. Methods: A total of 65 patients were admitted to Otolaryngology, head and neck surgery of the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university from June 2018 to March 2019 who had undergone neck CT angiography were collected. The imaging rate, starting point, diameter and walking characteristics were analyzed,The morphological features and clinical significance of CT angiography of transverse cervical artery and SMA were discussed. Results: CT imaging rate of transverse carotid artery and SMA was 100%.The average width of the beginning of TCA was 2.87±0.14mm;The average width of the beginning of SMA is 1.63±0.15 mm.The average length of the TCA was 104.5±27.11 mm.The average SMA length was 33.86±4.02 mm.The mean distance between the starting point of the TCA and the head margin of the medial clavicle was 35.56± 3.08 mm.The origin of SMA was 6.21 ± 1.47 mm from the mandibular margin, and 23.50±1.86 mm from the mandibular Angle. The Cross carotid artery(62%)Originated from thyroid carotid stem andsubclavian artery(38%).90% percent of SMA originated from the facial artery. Conclusion: CTA can locate submental artery and transverse cervical artery effectively, which greatly facilitates the observation of vascular morphology. In general, there was no significant difference in the morphology of the left and right vessels, and the submental artery and transverse carotid artery of a few individuals had their own advantages and disadvantages.Preoperative CTA observation was beneficial to the selection of the superior flap. The three-dimensional reconstruction in this study was affected by the actual CT value, and the visualization effect of the artery was not good enough.
