The Risk Factors For Pneumonia After Surgery In Patients With Laryngeal CancerObjective: To analyze some risk factors of postoperative pneumonia in laryngeal cancer patients, and to guide the prevention and treatment of pneumonia after laryngectomy. Methods: From January 1,2014 to December 30,2017,66 cases of larynx cancer were performed in the hospital.pneumonia occurred in 11 patients(observation group)and did not occur in 55 patients(control group)after operation. The general data were compared between two groups and multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factor for pneumoniaResult : 66 cases of laryngeal cancer had pneumonia after operation, and 11 cases had pneumonia. The incidence of pneumonia after operation was 16.7%.There were significant differences in the rates of the patients age, smoking and BMI ?28 between two groups(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age(OR=1.129,CI=1.025~1.249,P=0.018),smoking(OR=1.355,CI=1.117~3.614,P=0.037)and BMI?28(OR=1.629,CI=1.507~1.493,P=0.015),which were preoperative risk factors for postoperative pneumonia in patients with laryngeal cancer. Conclusion: Pneumonia is subject to occur under going operation for laryngeal cancer, its risks include the old age,BMI greater than 28 and Smoking.
