Objective: To evaluate the early and mid-term outcomes of coronary artery bypass grafting combined with valve replacement for patients with valvular disease and coronary heart disease in different age groups. Methods: From January 2016 to January 2019,the clinical data of55 patients undergoing valve replacement combined with coronary artery bypass grafting in cardiac surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were collected and analyzed retrospectively. The patients were divided into two groups according to their age: the elderly group(> 65 years old)and the non-elderly group(< 65 years old). There was no significant difference in preoperative comPlications, patient sex and past medical history between the two groups(P > 0.05),which was comparable. The early and mid-term effects of the two groups were analyzed. Results: There was no significant difference in hospitalization time,ventilator-assisted ventilation time and CSICU monitoring time between the elderly group and the non-elderly group(P > 0.05);however,the incidence ofpneumonia, acute renal failure and acute left ventricular failure in the elderly group was higher than that in the non-elderly group(P < 0.05).At the same time, there was no significant difference in mortality between the two groups(P >0.05).The cardiac function grading and cardiac function indexes of survivors in both groups were significantly improved compared with those before operation(P < 0.05),and the quality of life was significantly improved.conclusion:1.The incidence of pneumonia, acute renal failure and acute left ventricular failure in the elderly group was higher than that in the non-elderly group.2.Simultaneous surgical treatment of patients with coronary heart disease combined with valvular disease has a significant effect, can significantly improve the heart function of patients, the quality of life is also significantly improved.3.For patients over 50 years of age with valvular disease, routine coronary angiography should be performed before operation to detect coronary lesions.
